Price is a bit expensive, but the large is very filling. It tastes very smokey due to the fact the jerk chicken is smoked right outside of the restaurant. The Jerk Chicken did not come with side options which would have made it a 5/5.

I love this place.The owner is the coolest.The other people who work here are friendly.But I would go out on a limb and say they are the best jerk chicken restaurant in Toronto.I’ve never had bad food of any type here. EVERYTHING is amazing and priced right!

Got food delivered here late night at 2am.If the food was fresher it would of been better.Must of been left overs cause nothing was hot.Oxtail was okay and Curry Goat was okay as well.Potato Salad was a NO, it was stale, like it had been left in an open container in the fridge for a very long time. Yuck.Coeslaw was alright.Probably would give them another chance, but no time soon.Big portions and well priced.

I wanted to love this place, because of all the amazing reviews but today must have not been the day. I ordered a small jerk chicken, which at $12 is a bit steep for a palm-sized container. But to get home after a 35 minute ride, to see that there was NO JERK CHICKEN in the plate…disappointing!!! $12 for rice and coleslaw is unacceptable.

Located in little Jamaica, this place had me by the throat with its smoky grill outside its entrance. Just a heads up, this and many other Caribbean spots in the area are more take-out/pick-up type restaurants, so just keep that in mind when going to get a bite to eat.We ordered their large Jerk Chicken plate with Brown Stew Gravy, the large Oxtail plate and Dumplings on the side. In my opinion, I felt like the rice & peas in both plates was a little too soft for my liking, and the coleslaw was just okay. However, the proteins made up for it. The Jerk Chicken was delicious! It was perfectly smoked and charred. The oxtail was of course cooked to perfection as the meat fell off the bone. I will say the lady could have given me a much better serving as I was given a lot of bone and not much meat. The Oxtail Gravy paired excellently with the Dumpling and was probably my favourite thing I ate from here.All in all, Rap’s really did satisfy my severe oxtail and jerk chicken craving, so if you are having trouble picking a place to eat at in the sea of Jamaican restaurants here, this is totally an option- especially if you are in the mood for jerk chicken!

The jerk chicken is amazing. They have a proper pit in front of the store. The bbq chicken was really tasty as well so it's definitely an option. It's a little pricey but prices are high everywhere these days, considering that it's definitely worth it.I haven't tried the other things on the menu but we'll definitely be back at some point.

Great food and Service. Of the best jerk chicken I ever had, you can not go wrong with what ever you order, the oxtail and goat curry both very tender fall off the bone, I liked the fish too. The owner is cool. Great prices as well. Would definitely return
