Central Precast

We have worked with various locations to purchase both manufactured and real stone materials - central precast doesn't sell real stones but the quality of the manufactured materials is excellent (we purchased slabs and border blocks). Since COVID we have noticed a lot of places have been under-resourced and too busy but Central Precast has always had EXCELLENT customer service. I really appreciate that they open earlier in the day and that they have gone out of their way to help us. They are transparent in their pricing, arrange for quick delivery and the products have not had issues. Recently we were in a situation where we were short on materials mid-project and the manufacturer was not set for another process date. The staff searched and helped us find the same material nearby and had it delivered - anywhere else would just say we are out" but the staff at Central Precast are fast and very helpful - I will always recommend this location and am so happy with their service each time."

Central Precast was amazing in helping me out.I had a plan of something I wanted to do, that was not very common, and No idea how to do it.Central Precast is the only location in Ottawa that treated me fairly, and honestly. They were very nice and accommodating and that help move the project along quickly.What I built was a backyard feature (Wall/Fence) that is on the property line, and makes my small space feel much larger and nicer.For this project Central Precast helped me in a number of ways.1: Simply understanding the choices so that I could pick the rock and colors that would looks great.2: Understanding the requirements of what I needed to have built and ready to have these stones attached to it correctly.3: Delivery, as this is on the property lines touching 6 different properties. They divided the orders up and delivered the correct amount to the nearest point on each side of the property line.This saved me a huge amount of work getting things sorted and ready to go up on the wall.4: The top stone, is specially made by Central Precast to exactly fit the wall and look perfect. They did a excellent job making it.If I have another project using stones I will definitly be buying them from Central Precast.This picture is from the early morning in the early spring...

Some of the worst customer service in the business. Send your business elsewhere.

Just called this place for an assessment for precast steps. The employee I spoke to had no idea what they were talking about. Everything was I think" or "I don't think" or "We might be able to...".Could not articulate anything properly in regards to how anything works. Basically said "you buy the steps from us and everything else is your problem". Not impressed at all. Will take business elsewhere."

We liked dealing with this place a lot. Mostly friendly and helpful staff. The reason I didn't give a 5 star is thier sample return process is so slow. I mean I guess 10 or 15 min is not that big a deal but I just don't understand why it would take so long to return 4 items.

AMAZING SERVICE, I had to purchase extra stones due to a mis-calculation on Artistic Landscaping’s part. When I went back to them their response to me was; “I can’t help you!”It was a small order, so when I looked around I ended up calling Central Precast. I explained my situation and they could not do enough to help me out. From the office staff, to the fine young gentleman that greats you at the door and to the yard crew, I was treated with the utmost kindness and respect! I had to go there twice and both times were the same.I might add, that the first time I went was a Friday night just at closing. The gentleman in the yard had to hand load the order as I had an SUV. I felt bad for him but he didn’t bat an eye and was very pleasant about it.Each time the yard was packed with trucks for orders and trucks dropping off. The fact they were being run like crazy did not detour their commitment to customer service.I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Best place to get your interlock/wall/caps in Ottawa. Knowledgeable front office staff that actually follow up on requests. Great prices on all products (stone, glue, greenline, sand,...) The only place I'll stop for my projects. The yard staff is great, hardworking and very helpful. Can get busy at times, so be patient!

We ordered the Mondrian Stone in Blizzard White. Beautiful stone. Expert installer Elder (St.Michael’s Inc) did an amazing job. Very meticulous workmanship. Pillars are Cinco Brick in Rockland Black. Thank you Mo at CP & Elder!
