Horrible experience on my first visit, never coming back here again. Tell me why I paid $28 for half box of turkey when every other African store in scarborough/Toronto is selling $25 for a box. I am ashamed for this store, This is pure robbery and very bad. I even priced the half a box for $25 thinking I was getting a good deal the woman still firmly disagreed.....I am so pained I got scammed - Ole! nonsense! Please Beware!!

DISGUSTINGLY LOW CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HIGLY OVER PRICED PRODUCTS!!!I got the negative vibes the moment I entered. This really wouldn't have been noticed had she not told me to hurry up and pay that she has other customers to attend to, when I was clearly the only one in the eerie store and she was watching a movie on Youtube!!Plus, among other high prices, a bag of rice that can be gotten from almost everywhere, including walmart, was sold for a whooping $15 higher.I'm definitely not going back and this review is precisely for what reviews are for.

It’s incredible how welcoming the owners are. They answer all questions genuinely always show kindness. Exceptional customer service - owner came to give me a shopping basket even when I didn’t need one. Items are also affordably priced. It’s now my go to store for Nigerian/African groceries. Will definitely be back!

If I could give zero star, I would. Worst food I've ever tasted in my life. I bought their egusi soup about a month ago. The moment I opened it, the smell of my house changed. It smelled like an oil that has been used and resused over and over again. The soup was also very oily and tasteless.Today, I decided to buy their white rice and stew. Another biggest regret of my life. They gave me a reasonable amount of rice, but with a teaspoon of stew. The stew, as usual, was very tasteless. They also said the rice comes with plantain, but I never got any. The meat also tastes spoilt. I am currently eating a plate of white rice, with a heavy heart.Never again will I buy anything from this store, and I wouldn't recommend it to even my worst enemy.

Main items are for African palates. Owner very pleasant & informative about how to prepare foods from her country. Especially to someone like me, who doesn't know how to pronounce some in-store items. Also can pre-order frozen dishes, if you want to try some of the cultural delicacies. Dried /canned goods & spices, along with limited fresh items, make for an intimate & educational shopping experience.I will be returning to order some of the yummy sounding 'homestyle' soup tonight. It'll make for an easy meal tomorrow.Update: Got two different soups to try. They were both really good. And they are with something called Fu fu" .. yummy!Talk to the owner there and place an order for some of her home made soup. You will enjoy it!"
