Poutine itself was great, service was a little rocky. My friend ordered first and then my wife and I ordered. My friends order arrived quickly, then my wife and I waited for almost 15 minutes before going and asking how much longer ours would be. They had misplaced the order somehow and had not made anything. They were very apologetic and gave us a voucher for a free poutine in the future. When our order was finally ready, the staff member who took our order tried to make excuses about how our order was lost, not very professional. The manager was very nice though and I would still recommend going here.

Frenchies started out really well, however they've gone downhill since then. It's still a decent poutine but the care just doesn't seem to be there anymore. Gravy not always good, staff don't all follow the same procedures so you get different tastes even though you order the same thing. Currently you can't even order a coke as the cooler is empty. It's certainly not the worst restaurant out there but they could be much better with such a simple food item.

Awesome poutine, I had the Pig. Make sure ya hungry if ya order regular. Portions are very hearty. Highly recommend trying if in the area and hankering for a poutine...

Started out good but went downhill fast. We ordered takeout on thanksgiving Sunday and it was awful! Disgusting fries, raw bacon, oily gravy...terrible. Second bad experience in two months so we’ll definitely give it a miss in the future. Too bad because we’d had some really great food there.

Literally one of the places you NEED to try in Kamloops. Great traditional poutine. In addition to some wild poutine fusions!. I had the donair poutine today. Delish!.Something many people don't know about the owner, is that he often donates part of his sales back into the community to the New Life Mission. Which is a street level ministry and drop in center for marginalized, homeless, and in crisis persons.Love local eats with person based service!.Jessii

Best poutine I've had ever. Hands down. The owner is amazing and really cares for his customers and what kind of service they receive. I love that there is a vegetarian gravy and although I'm sad my green onions are always forgotten on top I will eat here again and again.

Update update, back again, still the best. Go get that buffalo chicken poutine in ya!FABULOUS poutine. Great people running the place. You know its gonna be good coming from a man with a mustache like that. Cheers! Update, been back many times always top notch. 10/10. You also know when Raine Wilson makes your poutine its also gonna be good.

Frenchies has great poutine: just like some other reviews state, their fries are crisp yet soft, and delicious. Legitimately so! They had copious amounts of gravy and cheese curds, and large portions. Their service was friendly and in good time (even during a busy lunch hour), and the place was well kept. I'll definitely be going back again, and bringing more friends.

One of the biggest and most delicious poutines I've ever had in my life! It was a toss up between and medium and a large. The 3-pound large was well worth the $13.99 price tag. They layered the gravy and the helping of cheese curds was very generous. Would definitely eat here again.

My first poutine experience in Canada. You won't leave hungry. The fries were good and crisp and didn't get soggy despite the gravy (good), cheese curds, chicken, bacon, and peas. Tasty and totally justified my decision to go for a 10k walk in lieu of breakfast so I could fill up at lunch. And a quick note: they do take credit cards. Yelp info indicated they didn't.
