Lovely store with bright lights that show off the good quality diamonds and other gems. Very knowledgeable and helpful employees. Nice sale when we happened to be there. They were interested in sharing knowledge about our purchase. Free shipping. Excellent sales and service.

After searching for many years for a signature piece, I found a beautiful sapphire and diamond bracelet at Stones! Keep in mind, I had the entire lower mainland of BC to look for that special piece of jewellery. The piece honours me and my journey in life. Brandon, the manager, is very knowledgeable about each special jewellery option.

This is my first on-line review!My wife and I bought our wedding rings at Stones. We assumed (wrongly) that because it was situated at the Empress Hotel that it would be very expensive and that they would only cater to those very well-off.We could not have been more wrong. Brandon spent all the time we wanted helping us chose my wife’s engagement ring with a beautiful Peridot stone that we could not find anywhere else. The service was old-world style and Brandon and his assistant went out of their way to make us comfortable . I admit we had tried to buy a ring on-line from a company in New York. It was a complete disaster and it cost more than the ring we finally bought at Stones. We were so happy with our experience at Stones that we ended up buying our wedding rings there as well. We will be going back there in the years to come.

As Victoria locals, I almost didn't go to Stones because I thought it might be touristy. I was so wrong. The staff are kind and fun and did a great job helping us pick the perfect non-traditional, engagement ring. We looked at a lot of local jewellery stores and their selection was great, they had lots of price points and again the staff were lovely.

We got an engagement ring at Stones about two years ago and a wedding band this week. We found the staff to be very knowledgeable and professional. I wanted to find something of quality that was made in Canada and sourced ethically. We found lovely rings at Stones and appreciate the help. Jack and Kim.

We purchased a Citrine and Diamond ring. Not the one I had Brandon put on hold a few days before we arrived, but a different one that suited my hand better. Brandon explained the difference between citrine and other stones I tried on just to be sure that this was the one.My Birthstone ring is very beautiful and I can’t stop looking at it.Brandon was amazing, it was a great experience and I couldn’t be more pleased plus my husband was happy that we didn’t spend our vacation going from store to store as Stones Jewellery had exactly what I wanted and on sale which definitely sealed the deal.Plus the next day we purchased a Ammolite fossil for my husband so we now both have something from Stones Jewellery.

Yes! Check this store out while in Victoria. Well! I was not intending on purchasing a ring on a vacation but I found one in Stones in the Empress hotel. I had not seen one like it before. I’m told it’s a one of a kind. It’s a beautiful ring. A Ruby and diamonds. My mothers name was Ruby so I’ve always been interested in them.As far as review goes: the staff were very friendly, not pushy but very inviting. I’d only seen the ring from the lobby windows. The owner came in after me and was knowledgeable. But Brandon was an exceptional sales person. Not pushy but convincing. Genuine and helpful. I have not received my ring yet. It’s coming today. And I can’t wait! I’d highly recommend you pop in while in Victoria.

As per what you'd expect in a Fairmont, the customer service here is outstanding. I'd called in an unusual question, and Brandon was so helpful (and had even packaged up the earring backs I needed in an adorable little gift bag for when I came into the shop). They have really lovely jewellery at Stones, some of it is one of a kind, and it definitely is much more unique and interesting than what you can find in generic chain store jewellery shops. I ended up trying on some beautiful rings and bracelets since I was there, and purchased this lovely pearl bracelet that was very Coco Chanel vibes to me. Absolutely would recommend shopping here for yourself or gifts, the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful (like I didn't know my birth month has four birthstones), and the jewellery is simply divine.
