Dog Days Barbeque

We love the food here. However, the cook/kitchen is super slow. Took 25 minutes for 1 brisket sandwich (meat already cooked, just needs to be sliced), potato salad (already made), fries (7 mins in the fryer). Only one other table occupied (3 pp) and a couple take out orders. They were sold out: of coleslaw

Was in town for work and was recommended to go, so much hype plus reviews looked good but far from the truth.If I could give a zero star, I would.I ordered the brisket sandwich and never in my life have I ever experienced tough dry brisket. I have cooked brisket before and I know how it's supposed to be. Felt like I was eating beef jerky.Not only that but the staff admitted it was OLD BRISKET and knowing their only open certain days of the week, I knew this was brisket from the WEEK BEFORE. Again, the staff admitted to me that it was old brisket and they would no longer serve it.Also, a colleague of mine ordered the special of chicken and ribs. Long story short, chicken was dry and ribs was dry and was described as chewing leather. Most likely old chicken and ribs.Hoping this was a one off but I can't believe how bad it was and I love southern BBQ.There's my rant.Appreciate the 10% discount off the bill I guess...

Just walking in, the smell is amazing! The food is delicious! Super generous portions and friendly service too. The prices are very reasonable.

Stopped by for takeout and tried the pulled pork and the brisket. Both were great! Loved the pulled pork though. Would like to try the sandwich next time. Will be back!

Absolutely delicious food, had the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich, it was unreal. Riley was out server, she was delightful. Highly recommend.

I have ordered food from here before and it was always good usually getting pulled pork or brisketThis time I ordered take out and got the Alabama chicken sandwich. It was not good, in fact it was awful. When I opened the styrofoam container I was welcomed with a rancid rotten smell. I tried the coleslaw which was hot but tasted okay. I then tried the sandwich which was the culprit of the rotten smell. It was slimy and just tasted wrong. After I was turned off from the sandwich and coleslaw, I went to try the fries and immediately seen a long blonde hair and I realized I had enough and threw it out

We went to eat here on Super Bowl Sunday so it was busy with takeout orders and a few tables. But, despite that our food was out quickly it was hot and delicious and the portions were good as well! The owners and the staff were so friendly too! Overall great service, great food highly recommend!

Recently went to Dog Days Barbeque for lunch with my wife. The restaurant was very clean, the staff very friendly, and the atmosphere nice and relaxed.I got the burnt end brisket poutine to share with my wife and she got the brisket dinner to share. The food was very good, the fries are fantastic for poutine, and the meat melts in your mouth.It's not as easy to find if you arent looking for it, but I would definitely recommend you finding it as it's a local gem with great food! I'll be back!

Dog Days Barbeque superceded my expectations, and my expectations were already high! The menu is well thought out. There seems to be something for everyone (breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, poutine, fish). The restaurant atmosphere was modern, comfortable, and intimate. I personally appreciated the fact that it was warm enough that I didn't feel the need to put my jacket on, as some restaurants are quite chilly. The waitstaff was attentive, friendly, funny and quick. The food was out-of-this-world delicious! Huge portions and we'll-priced. We will definitely be back. Dog Days Barbeque also does catering for small and large events, so check them out if you need to feed your guests something they will remember!

Two of us shared an order of pork belly burnt ends and one of brisket burnt ends…they were fabulous and very generous portions, so will enjoy the rest at home. We will definitely be returning here soon! Also great coleslaw and Brussels sprouts!
