A pretty Catholic church with services in English and Vietnamese. It has them in the afternoon and evening.

They go above and beyond for the COVID-19 safety measures. They have a big Machine that sprays the pews.

Drove by last night and there were tons of people inside and crowding at the doors. Streets in front were packed with cars squeezing in between each other. Inconsiderate of the neighbour and social distancing during restrictions.

St.Joseph's church had the masses livestream every Saturday and Sunday. Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in March 2020, they have followed all the health guidelines of the Province of BC including hands Sanitized, mask and distancing. Later the social gathered restrictions applied all masses have to be virtue online. All parishioners have to stay-at-home and attended mass online. They have not attend all the important celebrations such as Easter, Christmas, New Year. Weddings and Funeral services had to be limited to under 10 peoples attend, this had major impact on the families and relatives of the deceased. You may have seen peoples line up at the doors or car crowded at the parking because there is a funeral service, or they come to receive holy communion on Sundays and leave immediately. As a Christian myself, I do believe everyone in this church do care one and another. They do their very best to keep everyone safe. Let's keep our faith that we'll be back at the church one day.

Beautiful church inside and out! The church staff, led by Fr. Martin, are really nice and accommodating. Mass services here are celebrated in English and Vietnamese depending on the schedule. The church has ample space for parking and can easily be accessed via commute. Just a walking distance from the bus stop along Victoria.
