Kent Eye Institute

I was referred to the Kent Institute by my optometrist. I have never experienced such fast, courteous, friendly and professional service! All tests and consultation with Dr. Kent were completed in approximately 45 minutes. Extremely pleased and would highly recommend Kent Eye Institute.

The staff are courteous and efficient. They greet you warmly at the front door. The technicians are friendly and helpful and they move one through the process quickly.Dr. Kent was very informative and reassuring. She is a pleasure to work with.She displays a great amount of respect for her employees and their health by requiring masks when you visit.I recommend her highly.

I loved the service of the team at the office and the team at hospital for my cataract surgery. Very professional and respective and courteous. Thank you see you again soon for other eye!!

Terrible Service! My mother who has glaucoma has had her appointment rescheduled for nearly 6 months and has had no follow up regarding any other appointment date! I understand the current Covid-19 Pandemic happening around the world, but I recently called her office and they are now taking PEOPLE ONLY BY APPOINTMENT! How is my mother supposed to trust these or even the general public of the credibility of these Ophthalmologist DR`s to truly take the health of your eyesight SERIOUSLY?! I do not recommend these two Ophthalmologist`s if you`re an Indigenous person of Canada. They will not take you or the health of your eyesight seriously enough, but instead reschedule you twice and then not bother to follow-up afterwards, it has now been 6 months since my mother`s original appointment that was scheduled. People trust in these doctors for crying out loud!

The laser procedure went well. I think I overthought it more than needed. Kent Eye Institute made me feel welcome and at ease from the minute I walked in the door, to all the stations for testing, to the procedure with the Dr and me leaving. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. It was an amazing experience for what I thought was a scary procedure. I was well numbed it still felt weird almost like a rubber band snap but very barely, it's hard instinctively not to pull away. Blurriness has already dissipated, a little light sensitive when I went into the sunlight. Drops needed for 4 days and that's it. I'm glad it's over with and almost back to normal. If you need someone to care for your eyes surgically or lasers Dr Kent is a wonderful doctor and I would highly recommend her and her staff.

As soon as you walk in the door it is great. EVERYONE was so nice. It's like a well oiled machine. Everyone has a job and they know what has to be done and they do it. So organized. Waited 5 years for a diagnosis of an issue I've had and she knew what it was within 10 minutes of talking to her. Very kind and caring. Will not hesitate to go back with any issues I may have. Thank you to the Dr and her staff for such a pleasant and professional visit.

THE MOST POLITE AND FRIENDLY STAFF. Love their new larger location. They have all the latest equipment and funnel you through all the testing efficiently.

She is the worst, frequently ignores client calls and doesn't seem to have the motivation to find a diagnosis, also, is not helping to find an eye specialist who can actually help my friend. Don't even bother if your family doc refers you to this eye doc. My friend is slowly going blind and she has no diagnosis and it's been several years.

I have mixed opinions about this place. I arrived quite early for my appointment and happy I did so. I was there for 1 1/2 hours most of the time in the waiting room. When I finally saw the surgeon and expressed my opinion on waiting time he exclaimed that he was a surgeon. Well my friend I have 5 surgeons and my heart surgeon did not make me wait for heart surgery. It's obvious this place overbooks its patients to get the most revenue it can in a day. Turns out I did not need any treatment and pray I never need any. Parking was excellent and the staff were decent.

The Kent Eye Institute is by Dr. Referral only but if you should find yourself requiring their expertise you will be thankful that you were referred here.The staff is very knowledgeable and unbelievably organized for a fast and knowledgeable experience.
