Chicko Chicken Burnaby Hastings

Amazing chicken, super reasonably priced. Good portions, not greasy, but very tender and flavourful. The sauces are so yummy and the staff is very nice. Will definitely be going back!

My favourite fried chicken joint in Burnaby! They make it fresh so it can take a while for your order to be ready. But it’s well worth the wait. I love the Snow Cheese fried chicken, as well as the shake shake fries. In fact, I’m craving some right now.

I’ve now been multiple times and it’s very yummy chicken. They cook it fresh to order!

At long last the Heights finally has a go-to chicken place! My buddy and I had dinner her tonight and we both agreed it was the best Korean chicken we have ever had. I ordered the original chicken which was very tender, crispy and not-at-all greasy or gristly. My friend ordered the buldak chicken (not pictured) which was very spicy and incredibly flavourful. Today was their first day and I have no doubt that I will be coming back in the months and years ahead. Welcome to the neighbourhood! :)

I bought the Half & Half, boneless, cheese snow, Haek Buldak. The quantity was great but the flavours werent giving. The cheese snow was too sweet for me. Maybe i should have chose another flavour and i wouldnt recommend the cheese snow if you dont like sweets alot! The service was great and i would come back again.

I ordered the Chicko Meal, and really liked it. The chicken was tasty and moist! The fries was ok.

I’ve tried chicken from a few Chicko locations and this one is by far the best. Every piece is crunchy and not overly drenched in sauce. Cooked like it’s a craft!

I ordered a half & half chicken and they give me the same flavor even with the note written down.

It was my first time to having Chico. I got the original and sweet & spicy half and half for pickup. The sweet and spicy was quite salty personally, but original was really good and super crispy. I would try next time just original chicken and sweet & spicy sauce on the side. then It would be really great

Never going to buy from this place ever again. I loved eating their tasty chicken, but too bad one of their cashier made me never want to go back to this store ever again. I just wanted to get a pop like I did before, the pop was $1.67 and I gave her $1.65 in cash. She told me in front of 2 other customers that I was supposed to give her $1.70, and that people usually give them $1.70. I told her that $1.67 means $1.65 in cash, and she gave me the attitude of “whatever then, I’ll just give you the pop for LESS since it seems like you’re unwilling to pay the correct amount.” I DID GAVE HER THE CORRECT AMOUNT THOUGH! Go check Canada’s website since 2013 when they first introduced the rounding of cents. A 7 rounds down to 5 cents! I know she might be Korean, but you should know this if you are going to work in Canada as a Cashier. I felt wrongfully shamed in front of others in public because of her! By the way, the last time I bought a pop from her too, I accidentally even gave her $1.75 because I misheard it to be $1.77. She didn’t give me back any change either and just took my extra $10 cents. This time, I tried giving her the right amount and she shamed me in front of customers for thinking that I gave her less. I can not believe I was getting called out in public when I followed exactly how the Canadian government showed how the rounding of cents were supposed to be. I know writing this will make her know who I am, but I hope this now lets her know how Canada’s rounding actually works now. I do not want to go back to that place ever again now because I knew I was right but I was told that I was wrong in front of other customers. :(
