Costco Tire Center

Highly recommend!! I had a screw in my tire and tire pressure was slowing getting lower. I waited at the door of Canadian Tire until it opened only to find the guy working tell me they are a week behind and doesn’t have time to fix a tire. That’s fine I guess but I asked if he knew of anywhere else and his reply was “On a Sunday there’s nobody else”. I am not sure why companies have people working with people that are ignorant and don’t even want to help someone find another option to their problem, so they can be safe on the road. So I went to Costco and saw they did tires. I waited first at the door until it opened. I was greeted with a very helpful man. He ask one of his techs if they can squeeze in a little emergency and safety issue………it was done in less than an hour. I can’t say enough about my experience there.

Always clean and very friendly service, but sometimes slow to get to the counter when the shop is busy.Prices are good and the quality of work is excellent.

Absolutely NOT recommendableSummary:- just moved to the province- just purchased a classic Cadillac and had vehicle interior leather detailed for over $300- tire swap winter on rims to summer rims totaling 2hrs and 35 minutes for getting it done- trunk was completely disregarded to place removed set of 4 tires on the rear leather seats (I don't have to mention how the rear seats look now)-Did read the same comment before and was hoping that mgmt aka Allan would have addressed the issue.Recommendation, safe your time, aggravation and loss of time get it done elsewhere with experience staff or even better, Costco's which get it done within 35 minute with excellent service. (a decade of experience with 3 Costco's at another location)

There is currently no option to rate complete incompetence, which is the experience I have had ordering/receiving and installing winter tires with Costco. It is not only the large financial investment that has been inefficiently spent but more so the invaluable cost of time that is irreplaceable. After purchasing tires, awaiting their arrival, scheduling 2 tire appointments and spending over 2 hours for installation, I was confronted with my truck having old winter tires installed. Not only was the waste of time and energy completely enraging, but to have to drive away in very cold temperatures on very icy roads with children on board leaves me wondering what I did to deserve this level of service. Alas, after numerous phone calls with no answer- I am forced to return to the local tire centre to wait another couple of hours- wishing I had nothing better to do.

There is a super rude man working there named Allen. He is very unhelpful and always confrontational for 0 reason. I will take my business elsewhere.

I was told I had to order my winter tires online and that they could not get them in store. I place my order 3 weeks in advance and the day before my scheduled appointment I’m told that the tires have not arrived yet to the Costco warehouse so I’m instructed to phone and ask for a refund from Costco.ca and that I will have to wait for my money back while paying for another set of tires if I wanted to keep my appointment. I dropped 2 cars off to have tires changed over and use my truck to deliver 8 tires. The guy in the tire change area unloaded the tires from my truck-then proceeds to load the summer tires on rims into the BACKSEATS of my brand new cars.
