Honestly just really disappointed in this company. The suite we were getting was being renovated so they showed us a different suite, explaining that ours would have an open kitchen with an island, dishwasher and microwave which we loved. When we got the apartment we had none of what they promised us. When we asked about it they said “oh yeah that happens sometimes. We don’t always know what we’re going to get. Sorry!” And offered no money off rent or any other form of apology.The road in front of our suite was blocked off for a month and then our parking lot was blocked off as well with the tenants receiving absolutely no notice. My car was trapped in the parking lot and I had to get a ride to work because I couldn’t take it out over the fresh pavement. Called boardwalk to complain and was told there’s nothing they can do for me. I asked about money off rent and they said no.Final straw for us was when they complained about our pet. During our tour the leasing agent told us that they’re completely pet friendly so when we went to the humane society and fell in love with a dog we weren’t worried about bringing her home. Until we got a call from boardwalk saying that our dog isn’t allowed because she is too big (I’ve seen several larger and more aggressive dogs in the building mind you). She said that we have a week to get rid of our dog, which is partially our fault for not looking over the lease agreement and trusting that the man who showed us the suite would tell the truth and that our neighbours who have large dogs are paying the pet fees as well.Also, the renovations were done horribly. The doors were cut unevenly, paint splatters are everywhere, our pantry door was installed upside-down and our fridge is on wrong as well. The lack of effort they put into the renovations should have warned us that they would treat their residents the same.

On the waiting list for a couple went to the office a couple of times and still missed my when the townhouse was available.

Maintenance staff are so kind and quick to help. They do a great job keeping the area looking nice. Very kind neighbours. Very close to lots of amenities including the university.

Absolutely horrible. Wouldn’t even give them one star. Horrible for maintenance issues. We had a leak for the whole time we were here and were told it was just the roof and they wouldn’t fix the roof. Very bad customer service.

They just give the notification card and 2mins later they enter ur room. Very bad service.

The most worst place to be. I would suggest the guys who is going to live or saw this review to not to choose broadwalk. Instead choose hillsdale

Three calls to book a showing appointment.They promised to text or to give a notification where to meet. I never received any text messages or call.Noticed that the price ranges posted in their ads are always different from what they tell you.For example, one bed room for $800 is posted 1 hr ago before you call them.It is miraculously gone and the bed room price is now $1,000.If you are willing to pay premium for bad services and most likely for bad housing condition,I don’t recommend Boardwalk.

Absolutely awful customer service. Incredibly noisy, paper thin walls. It’s incredibly loud, and the boardwalk workers do absolutely nothing about it. I would absolutely stay away from these buildings. I don’t wish anyone to have to deal with the poor living of these buildings and the customer service that is delivered. They don’t care about their renters, they just care about getting more people into the suites. It’s disappointing. Save your $1150+ and rent an apartment where they actually respect and care about your well being and concerns.

Maintenance crew is always on site working in the yard or at the maintenance areas. They are all very polite and friendly as I see them every morning while walking my dog. They always take the time to greet me & my pup to say good morning and give Buddy a pet & play with him. Thank you guys! You make our day!

Neither the crew in the office are nice, nor the units. Only advantage is the site.. University.
