Pinestone Resort and Conference Centre

Resort needs a lot of work, ceiling tiles were not positioned in the ceiling. Carpet in the hallway had ruffles. Room phone did not work. Ran out of items on menu when ordering food. Wifi was spotty also you have to come out of your room o make phone calls. Gym was not clean and not wipes for equipment and no a/c in the gym had to open door, and back deck had overgrown bushes. Some of the washrooms were closed. Looked like overall the resort needed to renovated.

Good location, but the pricing is out of touch with the space. Rooms are quite dated and in need of a facelift. On site restaurant was great and convenient, no complaints on the food or service, but it was badly understaffed.

This hotel although part of the choice acend collection they do not pay up so you don’t get credit for the stay or your rewards points. I am only checking boxes because you have to in order to put this review in. I have been fighting for over two month for my stay credit and points. Aurora’s group owned and seam like it will be going bankrupt can’t pay their choice acend account so points would get credited. Dead beet business.

Good hotel, grate restaurant , food and service.

I had breakfast at the pine stone today and was ver disappointed. I got the classic breakfast and the sausages were completely charred black, the toast was not buttered, I was given less than a handful of home fries and the hole thing came cold. In addition there was about a 20 min spread from when everyone at our table got our food and a multitude of different temperatures. Not to mention it was $15!!!! For just your regular early bird breakfast which should be less than 10 at least. I should have noticed when the tables around us left their plates nearly full lol. Would NOT recommend!!! However this was not the servers fault the service was very good just the food was one of the worst breakfast I’ve had out 1/5

Place with so much potential but the the current state it is a disappointment!Stayed with children for few days, 1 bedroom villa accommodations were satisfactory but the amenities and resorts grounds in rough shape. Cannot comment on the golf course which seems to be busy and most likely takes the priority, but the outside pool in inexistant form even though is the profile picture for the hotel, indoor pool colder than lakes around, broken swing at the playground, nil water activities on the property pond...addition of tennis and equipment rental for free was one added bonus.We made the best out of it but would consider what the aim of the getaway is just to avoid any disappointment.

Great value overall.A challenging track that protects par with dog legs, elevation changes and protected greens. We had a wide array of skill levels and length in our group and everyone was challenged appropriately.We stayed in a villa. Kitchen and bathrooms were nice. Beds were VERY comfortable. Furniture is dated and a bit worn, but nothing special was needed for our boys golf trip.Overall it was fantastic and I would recommend.

The staff and service was excellent, very friendly. My room was very clean, great view of the pond. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open, so we didn't get to enjoy that. The golf course is excellent, fun, and challenging. The tee boxes are rough. It was nice to see a variety of people there having a good time, from families with small children, young adults enjoying themselves, walking their dogs, and other travelers. We had a lot of fun.

If you like older style hotels this is the place! I had a one night stay but the restaurant was closed. they have a amazing pool that is also clean

At one time this grand hotel shined of luxury. Now, the lobby is quite dated, the furniture is worn, the Restuarant/Bar looks old (like out of the 80's), the bathrooms are old, the parking was dusty and dirty... A simple makeover, modernization and care of the common areas and amenities is needed to refresh. Disappointingly, the restaurant got our take-out order mixed-up and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches came on a cold white bun out of the fridge with no au jus. The staff was friendly and helpful. Hope they can bring back their pizazz in the future.
