This hostel is located in a very rough part of Vancouver where lots of drugs and robberies are happening. The building is incredibly bad and falling apart and it’s terrifying to stay here. Would not recommend to anyone. When I arrived I immediately left and cancelled my booking regardless of the money I lost.

Basic room for a good price. If your expecting anything fancy this is the wrong place, but was clean and tidy, owner was friendly and helpful. 2 minute walk from Pacific Centre station.

Place was interesting. I mean very affordable and a great location with easy access to town/the waterfront. But felt very grungy, smelt a bit. There was no hot water when we were there. And also they forgot to email us the check in details and so we had to sit around for a while before the office person came back.

We expected the worst and were surprised!When we booked the hostel and saw the reviews, we were scared. But when we arrived, the owner was nice and helpful, he did his best to keep everything clean and was always very friendly.Yes, the place is a bit dirty in some places. But it seemed like the owner did all by himself, don‘t expect a sterile place.Yes, you might see some sketchy people in the area, but we never had problems with any of them, even though we very much looked like tourists.If you are a backpacker looking for a bed for a few nights, this hostel can be the place for you.If you are a family looking for a nice holiday, you might want to look elsewhere.

A place to stay with a bed and hot water, what else could you ask for? Nice staff, central location. Right next to the skytrain too! I recommend this place

i'm not gonna pretend it's not a cheap hostel in a run-down old building, but the manager was very friendly, everything was pretty clean, and the room was perfectly adequate for the two of us.

There are bad places and then this place. It is economical and at a great location however, the place has a terrible issue with at least three types of harmful fauna: mice, cockroaches and bedbugs.Also, the 5-stars reviews for this place are very suspicious and probably fake.DON’T STAY HERE!

I know the price seems tempting but its not worth it.Although the location is near downtown the area the hostel is in is very rough, a homeless man tried to get in while we were on our way out on the first night.The room was quite dirty, had cockroaches, and was not at all like the pictures.We were booked for 4 nights but left after 1, would not recommend to anyone.

Easy check-in, very nice owner, and great price for the area. Room had a sink and locked window, towels provided. Shared bathrooms (3 or more on my floor with showers), were cleaned my entire stay. Balcony in the back for smokers on both floors. Prime location for tourists. No complaints staying here.

The only advantages this place has are the location and the price. Considering the price, the hostel is well located near the Pacific Central Station and the metro station to the airport and the downtown. You have to climb a narrow stairs to get to the lobby and your room so don't bring a luggage that's too heavy. The place overall is dirty and has smells that I can't describe. Some abandoned stuff was piled at the corners of hallways. The shared kitchen and shower were not very good, either.
