Of I could put-stars I would. Worked here for 1 months I was absolutely disgusted by how the mangers treat employees and costumers. General Manager yelling at employees in front of the whole store and customers, refuses breaks for employees and and has no people skills what so ever DON'T SUPPORT THIS STORE

Me and my friend were at store today. We were about to checkout and a middle aged lady (sales person) with blonde hair came to us and we were told to leave the store and put the stuff back. It was 6.05pm. Other customers were also in line doing their bills. But she told us to leave the store. The lady was so rude to us and even her tone was not friendly but kind of racist. That’s type of behaviour is not acceptable. If we were already in store why didn’t they let us to do the checkout.

Went to use a gift card there today, purchase was slightly more than the amount on the card. Handed the gift card and then cash for the remainder, clerk rang in the entire amount of the cash then the remainder with the gift card, the opposite of what was asked. After pointing out the error and an hour of them trying to sort it out my wife was told they are unable to make returns on gift cards. My son is now required to spend his Christmas cash at Sports Chek as they found a way to convert it into a gift card. It doesn’t seem right that a customer who goes into this store with a $50 bill and a $100 gift card to make a ~$107.00 purchase walks out being obligated to spend $150 at the store? I would recommend people avoid buying gift cards from Sports Chek, as they seem to only be able to do in store credit on returns, and send e-transfers instead. At least this way the store doesn’t get to make the decisions on behalf of the person you are trying to give a gift to.

Placed order online for two jackets. Received one only. Sport chek investigated for more than a week. They are not sure about quantity which was packed in the order. They refunded for the missing item as there was no more available. I wanted two jackets for my kids, only one arrived and then the item was out of stock. So I had to return the one which I received, in the store. Soythland Mall closes at 6 pm and sport chek closed the store even earlier than 5.50 pm. There was still 5 min left and someone from the store was rude and did not allow me in the store saying we are closed. One other customer was angry and they served his request, just because he raised his voice. Moral of the story, make them do their job right.

Dont go the there, staff are horrible and unfriendly. One cashier which she wore a glass and black hair (maybe 30 years old) made my day horrible. If you want to go to the hell, go this store. It seems that you are the slaves of the cashiers. POOOR management like quality of Canadian tire products.

I feel bad for the staff at this location! There were 3 visible staff members. 2 were cashiers and one young man trying to help desperate and exhausted moms trying to get their kids some back to school shoes. Kudos to the staff who took a lot of attitude from customers. I felt bad for them.2 stars go to the management of this location. Obviously, the staff has been trained well to do their best for the customers, but where was management/supervisors to help them out? It’s the strangest back to school season of all time, give these young people a hand!10/5 stars to the staff.I have to note that I was in the store shopping for shoes for myself. I waited more than 1/2 hour for the poor guy on the sales floor to be able to help me. I felt awful for him. He did a great job despite being set up to fail.

You can get rollerblades here, which can be difficult to find at other stores. The price seems comparable to anywhere else that sells them (if you're buying brand new, anyway). The design of the fitting room area is really cool. I feel like it's worth walking into this store at least once just to see how stylish it looks. It's probably the best fitting room area I've ever seen in my life, to be honest. Yep, it's just that cool.

I just visited to that store with my friend. We chose some stuff to buy. Store was closed but still some folks in the line waiting for their billing. A lady around 40-50 years old came to us and we were asked to put the stuff back and she refused for the billing..she closed the till lane in front of us very rudely..Only we both rejected for the billing..she was very rude and arrogant kind of racist. Sorry I don’t want to say it but I felt it. I didn’t want to argue her because it’s kind of disrespectful because she was an elder…Also it’s the policy of every business when we have stuff to buy they have to do billing for it….it’s kind of disrespectful and insulting for us..it was worst experience ever in the clothing store…

I went to the Sport Chek in the Southland mall today and was really amazed with the help that I received. Normally when you go to a store these days, you rarely find an employee on the floor that is passionate and extremely knowledgeable about the area they are selling. So I was really impressed with their sales associate Mack. He was very friendly, knew exactly how to help me figure out what hockey equipment I needed and that would fit me best. He knew the right size I needed for every piece of equipment, I didn't have to try another size even once. He was able to find me all the gear I was missing for a great price. I used to go to other places to get my gear and stuff I needed but I really can't see myself going anywhere else while Mack is there. Hands down the best service I have gotten in the city for any sports equipment dealer.
