I have been a winter member for years. Great facility, great location. Just wish there was more court availability....

So I have just finished my first week of tennis camp. Over all it was pretty good, except for the fact that our counselor Gary was effecting our camp experience. He would make me and some other kids do push-ups for minor mistakes. He would pressure me and the other campers by making everything a lot more serious. He could also be quite rude sometimes like one time he said YOU BETTER NOT MESS THIS UP ..... THIS IS A SUPER EASY DRILL! Gary was kinda good because he gave us LOTS of freezes.

Very well maintained courts. In the middle of a bustling, fun park. Very friendly staff make it an inviting place to play. Players of all skill levels, singles and doubles.

I don't play tennis, but something people may not know, is there is a lovely room upstairs in the tennis club you can rent for all kinds of functions. We had three family events there, and the staff could not be more accommodating. It is furnished with big leather comfy couches and arm chairs. There are chairs and tables and dishes - pretty much anything you'd need to feed up to fifty people - including excellent cooking facilities, table cloths, a bar, etc. Flush Ink Productions also held their playwright's brunch, followed by She Speaks - readings of women's plays to coincide with International Women's Day. They gave us the room at a reduced rate as we were raising money for The Women's Crisis Centre of Waterloo Region. For people who don't play tennis, but are looking for a venue for arts functions, strategic planning sessions, or other events - consider Waterloo Tennis Cub, a welcome organization in our community.

I would like to address the comments made by GL". I am of Asian descent and have been a member of the Waterloo Tennis Club since the early 1990's. I have even played at the club as a student of University of Waterloo in the mid 80's. During my time here I have always been treated with respect and have always felt welcomed at WTC. There are many different ages and cultures represented at our club. The comments you have made are concerning to me. I am now a member of the board of directors. I would like to know what caused you to make this comment. I am willing to discuss the matter with you at the club or any place you feel comfortable. Please DM me and I will meet with you in person to discuss this issue."

Super friendly staff and amazing courts when I went there. I took lessons with a few different coach's and they are all very knowledgeable and fantastic teachers. If you are new to the game I highly suggest taking they're lessons and if you are experienced then I also highly suggest you book a court and come play. All around a fantastic place for tennis players of any skill!

Enjoy this place for lessons, early start hard to make it on time on a Sunday morning. Clean, and I enjoy watching my son play. Maybe they need more space to have more courts or remove some of the personal time and more classes. There is no win, right now but I love it and hope for some expansion or additional location. Class size could be cut down for the young ones to get more much needed attention on skills development.

Good courts, I take my kid for lessons and the teacher is very fun and knowledgeable, which makes it enjoyable for the kids. The only downside is the limited parking spots available
