Very top notch and experienced hair dressers here. Ray did a superb job. Clean and precise. Definitely will be returning in the future. You tell them what you want and they will make you a happy and satisfied customer. The service here are from genuine people who care about how you look and feel about yourself.

Took my 15 year old to this establishment today. His hair was very long on top. Asked for just ends trimmed and cleanup on sides and back. Barber took over 2 inches off. That wouldn't have been as bad if he didn't laugh about it and make a joke. This is no way to run a business. Very disappointing, we won't be back.

I've been coming to 6th street Barbers ever since I moved back to the Comox Valley in 2010. I go in twice a year to get my head shaved. They charge me $10, and I always give them $20. Friendly guys.

Straight up discrimination. I asked them if they could shave my hair, not corn row it, not platt it, just shave the sides (because I am not able to see the back of my head), and the lady on the phone told me that they don't shave hair when I told her I was black. Who doesn't shave hair in a barber salon? I hung up and called another salon, and she took me without question.Shame on you. I was about to use your business because of the mostly positive reviews, but you showed your true colours today. Most unprofessional.

I brought my two sons in for haircuts and was happy with the result. They were focused on giving cuts just how we wanted them done. My youngest son, eight, requested a cut like a YouTuber he watches. My eldest son, ten, wanted a mohawk. I just wanted their hair out of their faces and cleaned up. We were pleased with the result.Debit was not an option, had to pay by e-transfer. More difficult than I initially expected. It would be nice if they let you know when you come in instead of when you go to pay.

In response to Ant Nick's recent review, I was the one that took your call. It was an issue with some missed communication. I was having a hard time hearing the conversation as the phone was cutting out, and was under the impression you were looking for a face shave (which we do not offer), not a head shave. For that I apologize. It had absolutely nothing to do with who you are, just missed communication on the type of service you were requesting.

Best barbershop in all of Comox!These guys have been cutting my hair every summer for 5 years and they give me the best haircuts every single time. They always give nice conversation and a comfortable experience.Prices are extremely cheap for the quality of a haircut that you get. They do accept cash only, so be sure to come prepared!
