First time playing there today, great staff course is in good shape for spring. Greens are fast( which we like) Would love to see it with all the trees in bloom. The only thing we found was we were not sure where the next hole was, could use more signs. Great day

Worst pace of play I've ever seen. 4some was allowed to troll around with a tripod the whole round, never kicked off, despite being warned 5+ times. 3 hours to play 9, would have easily been 6 hours for 18. Disgraceful.

Nice course. Played within time limits. Been a while since I've played here. Definitely will return. Play early to get the round done in 3 1/2-4 hrs. Unless you like slow play.Awesome conditions today (10/23/22). Greens are still fast. It's worth the drive to Ollie's!Fast greens, great fairways, best buck for your $$

First visit and if it looks this good in mid October, it must be a real treat in prime time. The greens were IMMACULATE, fairways in great conditions and the tee blocks some of the best I’ve seen this year. A nice lay out, the kind of course you could probably score well on if you made smart choices (evidently I didn’t lol) but also the kind of course that’s ready to punish you if you get greedy. Well worth the price of admission, a real gem in the Kawarthas.

Olivers nest is a beautiful challenging course, However the rate of play is unbearably slow. Last year it took me 7.5 to get through 18 holes and was the last time I went. I decided to give it a try again this year thinking it would have improved, boy was I WRONG!!! You’ll often run into a lady’s league depending on which day you choose to go, causing the entire course speed to grind to a halt. We were told to start on the back 9 which was fine but still ended up waiting 15-20 minutes every hole. The pace of play here is so slow it’s become extremely undesirable for me to ever return.

I've been to this course a number of times over the years but have never seen it in such great shape. Kudos to the groundskeepers, fairways evenly manicured, greens in great shape and sand traps, while I found too many, are nicely groomed. These guys have done a great job on this course while still keeping the price at a great value. Would highly recommend anyone choose Olivers Nest for their next golf day!
