NEW BUILD!The Greene Homes team was a pleasure to deal with. From start to finish they kept us in the loop on the build of our home. First class customer service and a fantastic finished product. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great well built home. You can expect to greatly enjoy the experience. We will be building again with them !!!

Dear future Greene Homes Buyer,I thought I would share my experience in the hopes to give you a heads up or save you a lot of time, hassle and frustration. I purchased my Greene home in the north end of Cat Woods January 2015 – area is still being developed as of November 2017. The buying process was a dream, the nightmare started when we started trying to get the poor workmanship corrected. We had many phone calls/emails and contractor no shows. My home has two fulltime workers and we would have to rearrange our schedules for contactors to not show up or need to come back to complete the job. We have dealt with individuals that did not seem to have a customer service model in mind for the people that just gave them over $400,000 for a home. Below I have listed the items that have/have not been addressed over the last 22 months. These items are the ones I came up with off the top of my head so I am sure I am missing some. Something I should point out is Greene Homes expects someone to be at the house to ensure that THEIR CONTACTORS do a proper job. Too bad the accountably could not be the builder and perhaps more time and effort could take place as the house was being built…that would be nice.- Counters damage – contactor came 3 plus times- Cabinets damage – contactor came 2 times possibly more I actually do not recall now- Flooring uneven – contactor came 2 times- Plumbing – drains did not hold water and had to fix toilet- Electrical – plug in bathroom stopped working- Leak in a basement from piping from the ceiling- A/C – incorrectly installed and another visit b/c it stopped working and froze in the middle of summer- Gutters/downspouts – did not draining correct and one downspout was poorly installed multiple visits for that one- Siding – popped out a few time – 2 or 3 visits from contractor- Parging – house less than 2 years old….cracks within short period, “fixed” cracks back within less than a couple months and “fixed” again. Quick job and told not under warranty b/c it’s cosmetic. As a home owner that invested over $400,000 I think I want it to look nice longer than a few months!- Paint – horrible job but did correct and do a better job at one year inspection.- Drywall – horrible job also corrected at the one year inspection- Waterline for fridge was paid for as an extra. Did not put finishing tip to connect to fridge which ended up costing me more money to have the job completedBrimbles

Just completed my purchase with Greene Homes, and despite the negative reviews below, I have nothing but good things to say about my experiences thus far.Starting with the PDI, Melissa and Derek gave me a thorough tour through the home, showing me all the new and high efficiency features of the home. I'm a new home owner and I appreciated the time that they took to make sure that I knew how to care for the home, and get the most out of everything. They provided me with a maintenance and inspection calendar, along with some 'fine swag' (Mugs) that made it feel like they were aiming to impress.I had the home inspected as well, and very minor things were picked up, but overall the home received top grades from the Home inspectors who were impressed with everything in the new build. Also, I've had several tradesmen come by who have commented on the high quality of the installation with the plumbing, gas lines, and ventilation.Anytime I've contacted Greene Homes, they have gotten back to me right away, and have been very helpful.I'll update as I go along in the ownership process, as I still have my 30 days warranty inspection(I just moved in) but I felt the need to post this as there seems to be some negative reviews dragging down what I feel has been a great experience with the builder so far.

So, I walked around my new home and I’m doing my 30 day Tarion warranty review. I got a blank piece of paper…Even the initial Tarion review, we only found four small items to have corrected.I have lived in three Greene homes and purchase two within the last four years. Each time they get better and evolve.The value for Greene homes is significant because of the fact it is improving both quality of work and products. Also the location which is absolutely the PRIME for living in Kingston.All of the homes purchased were through Holly Henderson. I have worked with many agents over the years. Holly was right to the point about the important things to look for logistical location and value.Real estate agents are a dime a dozen in Kingston but, I would definitely recommend her over the guys across the street or next door.Thanks guys!

Very professional and thorough from start to finish on our home. I cannot say enough about the experience with Greene Homes. Any questions we had they answered very quickly. Any issues we have had have been minor and expected with any new build. After move in, they have been there for any questions, concerns, fixes, with the same professional courteous service. I highly recommend this builder for your next home. The finished product is worth the wait.

Incompetent untruthful. Hide deficiencies. Call themselves Custom houses builders but simply modify an existing floor plan. Substandard work, code violations no interest in quality. Never get yourself involved with this builder buy any where else. Atrocious customer service. Pad posts to up star themselves. The reason there are not more honest reviews as buyers are still relying on them or they are too angry to write LOL

Very pleased with our experience with the owners an staff at Greene Homes. The process laid out in the Home Owner" manual an the follow up made the new home construction process much better than expected. A clear detailed construction agenda

Do not buy home from this builder. Absolutely disgusting. Hides deficiency. By the time you find out it is out of the warranty. I'm not done with them yet, going to see if Tarion can help. For all the future home buyer, stay away from them for your own sake.

It has been just shy now of 6 months since our build was finished. The contractors they hire are all very skilled, friendly and respectful. Greene Homes continue to be promptly responsive to any concerns (20 mins to 24hrs to resolution has been our experience!). They will make every effort to attend to your needs! If you have never built a home the Greene approach is a great start. For the hardworking folks out there, the Greene Homes process is simply more attainable without the awkwardness of construction mortgages and their homes qualify for some really tasty energy star rebates! Check them out, we have no regrets!
