best tire repair company in Vancouver Island. get me in the same day I called. And even changed my spare tire for free. Highly recommend to everyone who needs to repair tires.

I made an appointment a week ago for a tire repair, and the day before I called to confirm. I was not in their appt book! Regardless, they penciled me in for an afternoon appointment. After an hour, I was told by them it was unfixable so I drove away on my spare. I called Cedar Tire where I bought the tires in 2019 and asked if they had the same tire in stock. They did! The next day I brought my car in to Cedar Tire expecting to purchase a brand new tire. Cedar Tire actually fixed my tire at no charge! Shame on you Kal Tire for your incompetency and losing a customer but THANK YOU Cedar Tire for going above and beyond to service my 3 year old tire! My friend told me that she too did not have a very good experience with KT over her brake job. I advise everyone to shop around and read reviews when it comes to finding the right shop.Update to shop response:Thank you for responding to my review. It's too bad that none of what you said was conveyed to me at the time I picked up my car. More conversation with your customers would be a good idea. My fixed tire is doing great and holding air again. No problem.

Isaac helped me check the tire pressure quickly today as I stopped by for a different thing. This branch is always super friendly & helpful. Efficient too.

I recently went to the Applecross Kal Tire location. I must say that I have been treated extremely well and would highly recommend having your vehicle looked after by Hayden and Justice. Knowledgeable, provide quality service and give expert advice, are the top three descriptors I would use for the Kal Tire team, located at Nanaimo, Island Hwy. near Applecross, on Vancouver Island. I have been dealing with my tire sensor light coming on intermittently for many years, and have had to get air in my tires at Kal Tire every time this happens. As of today, I have replaced all the tire sensors and all the tires and am very hopeful this issue is now resolved. If not, I know the Kal Tire team will continue to help me with this issue. I have my regular oil change and maintenance done here every year, too. Thanks for being so awesome, everyone, from front end to back end. I appreciate all of you!

I bought my tires from Kal Tire location several years ago and was told if needed help just go to any Location. To my surprise a couple of weeks ago I went to the Nanaimo location where I met Hayden. I needed my tires pumped up and he was more than helpful. He took care of my request right away and I'm pleased to say he was very pleasant and thanked me for dropping by. I'll be going there again. I am not proud to admit I have had my fair share of flat tires and this particular instance shredded my whole tire, but these guys were awesome in finding a nice back set of tires for a pretty affordable price and they got here quickly from the mainland. Quick service too!

I've used various KT stores for 12+ years. I've never been let down. This store was amazing. They had what I wanted, expert staff and installed my snowtires in a couple of days. Other tire places needed 10+ days!!

Great Customer Service - Great price Have dealt with them for over 5 years - no issues plus knowledgeable staff .Not cheap - I am from Alberta and Kaltire coffee machine for customers are ok - This location has great coffee / cappuccino machine to relax while you wait for your tire change

The associate was nice and friendly and everything, but I had a tire repair done on a LOOSE(not on vehicle) tire with a nail in it they charged me $52 and change which is over three times the cost of the same repair at Costco tire centre and twice as much some other local tire shops. I stopped there because I have used them in the past for other tire related needs it was close and they were able to squeeze me in without an appointment. they called me back three hours later to pick up the tire.. I was extremely shocked at the over $52 charge thought. I in hindsight. I was in no rush. I have other vehicles, so I should’ve waited and just made an appointment with Costco the cost there is less than $15. I guess I should’ve asked how much it was before the repair be cause I definitely would’ve just waited and gone somewhere else….
