Sleepy Hollow

Picked up a bunkbed from here, the beds are solid and comfortable, the setup was well done and they cleaned up after.

Bought an upgrade for my eldest kid's Maxtrix bed. The service was great and staff was knowledgeable. One of the last few stores selling quality furniture. Hope they stick around for a long time to come. Great place.

Oct 18 Edit: Sleepy Hollow has been wonderful at responding to my concerns, below. They came out to my home to look at the chair and brought the cushions from the showroom to compare. It turns out that the cushions we recieved were not as thick or as dense as those we had tried in the showroom, and Dutalier will be replacing the cushions in 2 to 3 weeks. Also, I have learned that it is essential to use the lock chair function to help keep people in my home safe from tipping this chair over.*Oct 11 post: I wish I had not purchased my Dutalier Rocker Glider + ottoman. It is a dangerous, poor quality product with poor customer service. The number of reasons I hate this chair are numerous, but what everyone needs to know is these chairs are a safety hazard: I was shocked when the chair flipped over while my mother was carrying our infant son as went to get out of the chair - she was thrown to her knees, bent over on the floor with the chair on her back, I had to rush over to move the chair off of her so she could get up. Thank god she didnt let go of our infant, still clutched to her chest - he could have been seriously hurt, or worse. A few weeks later it flipped on a friends' six year old. This is NOT OK. Dutaliers response through the store was they dont know of any issues with the chair". It makes me ashamed everytime I need to caution new comers to our house to be careful. Sadly

We bought a floor model bed for our eldest daughter. They had wrapped the entire bed for pick up. They sell canadian made hard wood furniture. Very knowledgeable staff. We will be back for a bed for our youngest daughter.

We bought a beautiful crib at Sleepy Hollow in 2019. It was solid wood and made in Canada, which was important to me because I worry about toxins and off-gassing from cheaper cribs made in China. We discovered only this year (2023) that there had been a miscommunication at the time of purchase; we thought our crib was 2-in-1 (converts to a toddler bed) but it turns out it needs a special conversion piece to do this. Unfortunately the manufacturer has stopped making cribs and the piece is no longer available. The staff at Sleepy Hollow went above and beyond to help us with this. They asked me to bring in the front panel of our crib, and they spent several hours adapting a spare crib piece from their warehouse so that our crib can convert to a toddler bed. They did this completely free of charge. My toddler is now happily sleeping in his toddler bed, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the customer service at this store. The fact that they stand behind their products 3 1/2 years after purchase is so impressive. I will recommend them to anyone I know who is having a baby, and plan to return there to shop for bunk beds in the next few years.

Got bunk bed delivered today. Everything went smoothly from the initial phone call, to meeting at show room and delivery. Excellent customer service and really nice people to deal with.
