I purchased my Triumph from Savage Cycle in 2015 and have purchased tires had it service and accessories periodically from them since was taking of for a bike trip up island on the way out my rear brake quit working which happened once before after sitting for the winter months it appears that they were to busy to spend 10 minutes to bleed of the system so I had to take the bike home and do it myself. It took me about 5 or 6 minutes and I had good brakes I just a little customers service would have been nice .

I have been coming to Island Motorcycles for a long time (since before they were Island Moto). I bought my first >100cc bike from them because Peter was awesome and treated me (a female rider) like a real human being. The same can’t be said for a lot of shops. When I traded in my bike for a different Triumph, I went to Peter. Peter has since retired, but I will continue to bring my bike here.The sales and service people are fantastic. They are accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. The prices are fair and the work is super quality. This is the only shop that I want to deal with.

Bought a bike there but left with a sour taste in my mouth. Their sales department uses questionable techniques to squeeze more money out of their customers. The salesman checked my trade-in, we did the usual back and forth until we had a price we could both agree on, I did my down payment and I thought that was it. They did an inspection of the motorcycle and came back with a bill for maintenance that they claimed had to be done on the bike that they wanted to charge on top of the already agreed-to price. I have done a few trade-ins in my life and have never seen this before. Normally the trade-in value is significantly less than the resale price to cover for this sort of thing and still allow the dealership to make a profit. To add insult to injury they arbitrarily rounded up the amount on the bill by a few hundred dollars and failed to provide me with a valid reason to do so.I ended up getting them to split the difference of the bill and got the new bike still but I left the dealership angry with the feeling that I have been ripped off.I only gave them two stars because at least their parts and service people have been very helpful. But I'll NEVER deal with their sales department again. If I ever buy a Triumph again I'll take the ferry.

Just purchased a Triumph Trident 660. My friend picked up the last one in Vancouver and so I called them to ask if they had any left. Damian said he had 1 left and 2 minutes later after I put down my deposit over the phone the bike was mine. Flew in from Vancouver a few days later to pick up the bike and the experience was A++, from Damian in sales, Matt in parts (bought a bunch of add ons, gave me a discount and pulled off magic in getting my bike slotted in for install) to Janette in finance who made sure my visit was seamless and efficient. Can't say enough about this crew can't wait to buy my 2nd bike from them!.

Way better service then their in town location. Gear selection isn’t quite as good but people here treat you like a valued customer.

Best Customer Service Experience. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable! I was greeted immediately and was paired up with my new Triumph Street Twin! I loved how I was able to take it on a test ride. I would highly recommend this store to anyone for their motorcycle needs!! Thank-you!

Unfortunately my experience at Island Motorcycle was awful. Came down Island on my BMW R 1200 GS to test drive a Triumph Tiger 850 Sport. Left my keys with Peter so they could evaluate my BMW while I drove the Tiger. Great bike by the way. Came back ready to buy the bike and went into the sales manager's office to talk numbers. First thing she tells me is based on advice from the BMW half of Island Motorcycle, she thinks my GS is worth $3K (according to Blue Book Canada a rough example is worth $4.7K). Needs lots of work, tires need replacing and lots of outstanding recalls. Lots of BS as the BMW store hasn't seen my bike and apparently neither had the staff from the store where I was. It was parked in the in their parking lot and they never bothered to look at it. Anyway I left without a new Triumph. Good thing it was a nice day for a 400+ km bike ride because nothing but anger came from my visit to Island Motorcycle. Triumph Tiger 850 Sport is a great bike, but I guess I'm going to have to buy it somewhere else.

Had a great experience buying a bike here even though I live in another province. The long-distance purchase was easy and they were super patient keeping the bike there when I got delayed picking it up. Also, very much appreciated Damien coming to the shop on a Sunday when they were closed so I could pick it up since that was the only day I could travel there.

Fantastic people - Peter, Scott, and Dave are great human beings. Last year, they got myself and my wife onto two new Triumphs. I never felt overly pushed, I always felt listened to, and they put up with my questions, random visits to the shop, and requests for advice with good humor and patience. Probably the best dealership experience I've had yet, which is why I still drive the 100km from Nanaimo down there any time my Triumph needs servicing or if I need accessories and official Triumph gear.These are great people.

4months to get an Indian saddlebag, 7 weeks to get a signal light lens . 21 days to get a rear tire nail puncture repaired. No tubes in stock . Still trying to address warranty issues from last season ,
