Master Mechanic Oshawa

First time going here and I can say that the team is fantastic. I would highly recommend Master Mechanic. The issue I had was not straight-forward, but they sorted out the problem with my Honda Accord without adding any extra expenses. They're honest, reasonable, and friendly.

Called about having a safety done and refused since I’m not a frequent customer. Was told that they “have to be careful with their safeties because there is a shortage for safety slips from the government”. Called their Whitby location and they had no issue offering me an appointment. Would not recommend the Oshawa location.

Mike and are professional and personal. Mike takes the time to explain and easy your mind with any issues you have with your car. Depending on the year of your car; he will try to get a part that will fit your budget. Excellent family business.

This place is great! I had an oil leak in my car and they fixed it super fast, did a road test and also fixed any other issues I had for super cheap! Really nice place and nice people. They also followed up with me afterwards to make sure that everything was working well! I’ll definitely come back here.

I have used that shop for a couple of times in the past. They did 4 wheel alignment on two previous vehicles that I had. Job was done right each time. Last December, I took my 2018 Acura RDX for a wheel alignment and balancing at Master Mechanic run by Mike in Oshawa. Job was completed and then, vehicle wasn't driven for a couple of weeks because my wife was in vacation and she usually drives it. After returning to work, she noticed a vibration in the steering wheel. I took the car back to Master Mechanic , where they admitted front wheels were a bit off. That was corrected but very weird to me, as I never had that kind of job done twice within a very short period of time. Then, my wife noticed vehicle is pulling either to the right or left. I drove it on freshly paved road and she was right. This time, after having two wheels balanced twice, I realized that maybe his machine is not calibrated and took it to Acura dealership. Mike's alignment was all over the place. 4 wheel alignment was done correctly by dealership and vehicle drives very well now. When told Mike about that second issue, he blamed us for driving on pot holes or hitting a curbside. Mike, the only pot hole filled with incompetence and dishonesty is your shop and we'll avoid it in the future. No reimbursement for a job poorly done.

This was my third time here and has become the only place I will go to from here on in! Mechanics are well trained, efficient, and courteous! Ladies at the front desk are wonderful. They are quite knowledgeable, super courteous, and very pleasant to converse with!

Mike is a great guy...no BS...to the point.

Our family has been coming to Mike and his team at Master Mechanic for years. He has serviced our new and used vehicles with skill and honesty. The receptionists are welcoming, patient, knowledgeable and very supportive. The work atmosphere in the garage is very positive and the mechanics do a great job. I highly recommend this business. If you want fair prices and good workmanship, this is the place for you!

Service/professionalism 5/5Quote given 2/5Reason being, I was told 2 of 3 things wrong, were actually fine and was shown this by another mechanic. Saved us $150 (thru our own mechanic). These guys quoted me $1800 for parts/labour whereas our mechanics labour and parts, only $410. Easy way to make money, although most take advantage of women, assuming they know nothing about cars lol picked the wrong one

I spoke with Karen on the phone and she was absolutely fabulous. She understood my being in a pinch for an alignment right near closing and based on how close I was to the shop. She asked me to come over right away and accommodated me last minute end of day.All the staff I encountered were very friendly, professional and took care of my vehicle in a timely fashion.Thank you so much for all your dedication and assistance.5-Star Service!
