Adam is great to deal with. I'm sorry you had a hard time getting your deposit back, they don't come from his office they come from head office. I don't think wearing sunglasses outside is unprofessional when it's summer and sunny out. I'm sorry you had a bad experience but he really is a great person to deal with.

Buying the home was super easy. Dealing with the aftermath of poor workmanship and cheap components in the home has been less than ideal. Trying to get answers and deal with home warranty due to poor workmanship, leaking roof, electrical not hooked up correctly, is the biggest headache ever.

The buying process on my home was very easy. They helped guide you with financing and getting everything done to purchase however after the home was delivered it’s had nothing but problems with poor and cheap worksmanship. I requested warranty in the first year on several issues and it took months for them to come out. After that, the same issues arose again plus many many more and their only reply is its out of the warranty time. I Do Not recommend BestBuy homes unless you want to spend tons of money on repairs. Everything has fallen apart in my home and it’s been two years. Pretty sad

If I could give this place a negative star I would.We bought a custom home in 2014 and have been battling with this company for years. We have multiple issues with our home. I have been very patient with them. We have tried to take them to court but moduline, promobile and best buy homes were blaming each other for everything.I recently came to speak to kaylee which is Barbs assistant at pro mobile (where they do warranty work) and i will tell you they make you feel like that are going to come do it and never end up coming or it takes years for them to come do it. I have an opening on the underbelly from when they installed the gas lines and insulation is coming out Since day one. We have tried to tell them that it was said (which i have letters from our lawyers and read it to her on the phone today) and saying I never mentioned it before. We have been worried about mold because the dryer vent wasn't placed in the skirting like it was supposed to be and now there is wet insulation under there. They just told me its up to us to hire someone to deal with it at our cost...like everything else.apparently they said there was no mold . i don't have any documentation of that what so ever. I am worried for our overall health if there indeed is mold present. I then got hung up on . So please if your reading this do not waste your time with this company they do not care all they care about is getting the home on site and that is it they are on to the next one without completing the setup.not to mention things are already falling apart eg. kitchen cabinets under the kitchen counters. there are some photo of what we have been dealing with. A terrible company to buy from!!!

So impressed with our experience with Best Buy! Mark is so knowledgeable and guided us through our buying experience with ease. He answered my (many, many) questions quickly and patiently. The home exceeded our expectations in all ways from purchase to delivery and final installation details. We love our new home!

After being assured by the sales person that our SRI home would be covered by warranty, and that he would personally stand behind it, we are now one year trying to get them to fix faulty floor joists that sagged and now bounce when you walk across the floor. The bounce is so bad dishes fall off of shelves and the adjacent walls are now cracking...this is on their floor joist design, with their pilings, all of which they installed. I cannot recommend Best Buy, SRI or Commonwealth and would caution others to not buy here. One star is the lowest you can submit...would be 0 if I could.

An absolutely horrible buying experience. Things that were promised as part of the agreement were not completed. We’ve taken delivery of our home over a year ago and we still do not have cabinet doors, blinds and there are still outstanding deficiencies that they have yet to address. The communication has been abysmal and frequently ignored. Do not waste your time and money on these people. They’ll lure you in by saying the things you want to hear and then give you the middle finger once the contract is signed. Dealing with Promobile (customer service) was an even more terrible experience. Clearly their Give-a-eff meter is below zero.

Adam was very unprofessional. He promised to give us a quote, after our $1000 deposit, within a certain time frame. After asking for the quote several times, he kept saying it would be ready later, then later, and later again. He never made any effort to contact us. We had to always contact him. He said the deposit was refundable no matter what. When we asked for our deposit back since he didn’t provide us with what we agreed to, he said he would give it to us within the week. Three weeks later we are still waiting.......very disappointing!! The last time we were in his office to request the refund, he was wearing his sunglasses while he spoke to us.Very unprofessional!!!

Absolutely would never recommend Best Buy Homes to anyone. The buying was easy and they made it sound like they cared about our needs and wants for the home. After the home was set on the pilings, the cheap workmanship is apparent. The subfloor was damaged in delivery, they basically said there was nothing they could do to fix it except sanding it down; we’ve been here three years, the house has shifted every year, they said it was normal; the pilings were put in too shallow, weren’t welded and the pins could be pulled out by hand, the company Best Buy Homes contracted to put the pilings in told us they didn’t have a pilings report and then falsified the pilings report last year when we asked for it and when we told Best Buy about the falsified report they stood by it; bathtub leaked into the bellybag; they left the dryer vent full of insulation and when we told them that couldn’t have set our house on fire they basically didn’t care and shirked responsibility; they guaranteed us a fully sealed unit, “never had any complaints of mice!” the salesmen said to us, mice every year. There are too many things to list and now our we find out our chimney has been leaking water for three years, can’t wait to hear what they come up with as a way to get out of this.Do not buy from Best Buy Homes unless you like rebuilding the poorly built homes they sell.

Let's talk about customer service, Something that is fading out, Dealing with Barb and Kaylie they have gave me confidence that its still there, For every question I had they had answers for me, and if they didn't they found them and got back to me, any problems I had were addressed immediately, right from ordering parts to the service.. Definitely 2 thumbs up and all 5 stars, Don't change what your doing. Your doing it right!!! Thank you
