Riôtel Bonaventure

Clean hotel, small rooms, average reception...bay front rooms available...you can hear the noise from the street if traffic is present, in the rooms as well as some of the noise from the rooms next door...average food in the restaurant, not a place to write home about! However 3.5 stars does mean that its an average place where you will feel safe and fairly comfortable. :)

This hotel is perfectly located right on the water, with beautiful sunset and close to everything in town. The restaurant is excellent, along with the service. The hotel staff were extremely friendly. However, do not expect a super fancy hotel with elevators. No elevators, carpeted hallways that are not sound-proof so when you are sleeping in your room and hear people walking and talking through the hallways. Our room was a city view room, 1 queen bed, the room was horrible, the AC blew out humid musty air, old dirty carpet throughout the room, and the shower stall sprayed water directly out so the floor was always wet. Our friends had taken a city side room with 2 beds and their room was perfect, updated, no carpets. So I assume certain rooms need updating. The hotel was fully booked so we could not change rooms, but other than that we had a great stay!

We booked our friends in this hotel to stay while they visited us and we loved the hotel. The room was gorgeous facing the ocean and it was a beautiful room with 2 dbl beds. The Kano is also excellent with fabulous service and delicious food.

Small room, nice staff, clean. Noisy since our room was on the town side. If you want a quieter room select one on the water side.

Pictures are much better than actual hotel, rooms are small, dated, should be renovated. Also, our reservation was mixed up, but staff did everything to resolve it. Nice area, sunset is spectacular, but was not impressed with food options, parking is another problem.

The room was cute with a great view. The sunsets are gorgeous at this spot. Staff super friendly as well!

Room had a great view of the ocean with a picture perfect sunset. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was small, no fan, shower only. Food from restaurant very good.

A nice older hotel with great views.The restaurant was very nice. We had the “all you can eat “ lobster special. They were well prepared, guest and I had several.Here is a photo of veggie omelette from my breakfast.
