Chartwell Lakeshore Retirement Residence

At Note to Soul Inc. we strive to improve the mental well-being of our community. Last weekend, we did a presentation at Chartwell Lakeshore Retirement Residence for residence and staff. Thank you to everyone who attended. Everyone was so friendly and the place was beautiful. CHARTwell Lakeshore Place does an outstanding job in caring for seniors and am extremely impressed with the professional, caring and engaged fashion in which the team operates and proactively steps in to ensure resident needs . The interests of residence are always being understood and attended to. The service is well thought out, very professionally managed and good value for money. I strongly recommend this home. The peace of mind that comes from having your loved one at this facility & support they can get at a very difficult time for all involved is invaluable. Went for a visit and enjoyed a fantastic meal. Staff / service was excellent, dinner was delicious, and it was a pleasant atmosphere. Overall great experience.

I highly recommend Chartwell Lakeshore Place to any family who is looking for Retirement Home which truly cares of elderly. Lakeshore is one of the place I had volunteer for on the beginning of my Healthcare carer, Administrator Nancy Fischer is extraordinary leader with hands on approach, not only with employees & volunteers but also with residence. When you are looking for place for your loved ones, be very careful making choices. This home gives residence class & style but most importantly attentive care they deserve.

I was totally wrong with my other comment. I was misinformed. Chartwell lakeshore retirement home is a great place.. The staff iare very nice and helpful. . It's like living in a 5 star resort.I recommend it to anyone who is lookingfor living there.

Chartwell Lakeshore Place is one of the retirement communities where you want your loved ones to be when they can no longer stay at home.All levels of accommodation are available - independent living, assisted living, and memory care.Beautiful, well maintained property located on Lake Ontario.Loads of activities and outings are provided for the residents to keep them occupied physically and mentally.And the staff are caring and conscientious.

I have enjoyed my 1st six months at Chartwell Lakeshore. I have found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful and have found it easy to mix with the residents.My suite has been very comfortable and the housekeeping staff have always done a great job of keeping it clean and tidy.Activities have been somewhat curtailed recently because of the covid virus but the staff have made valiant efforts to keep the residents entertained.I have really enjoyed the opportunity to be able to walk around the perimeter of the property and the company that handles snow removal have done a fantastic job of keeping the parking lot and the path around the perimeter of the property clean and salted.I have also enjoyed being able to use the gym.Overall, an enjoyable six monthsTony Davies

My father has been living here for a few years now. The staff is wonderful and do a great job. As he is declining health wise they are responsive to his needs and keep me informed. We just had his 80th birthday on the premise. I have to say the Food Service staff made the most wonderful roast beef meal and hosted us in a private room. I gave them some decorations and they add to it with their own pretty things and made the most wonderful atmosphere for our event. Thank you for all you do for my father and family.

I have recently been volunteering here at Chartwell lakeshore retirement. Hands down this has been one of the most educational experiences I have had. Seeing how inclusive and welcoming this community is makes me happy to be apart of it. The lifestyle and program manager Baillie is one of the most welcoming individuals I have met. She is always smiling and making sure everyone is happy. I highly recommend Chartwell Lakeshore to anyone who needs. You can find comfort in knowing your loved ones are being taken care of.

Staff are absolutely outstanding, they go above and beyond to help. Our Mom’s care has been exceptional. Food was always delicious and amazing. We really felt like we were welcome when visiting Mom. They created a homelike atmosphere, the attention to detail for decorating is comforting (Christmas, Valentines, seasonal etc)THANK YOU ❤️Joanne and Cathy
