Swan swim school

My kids have been training with Mohsen for a few months and he is great with kids and a perfect swim instructor for them. He is strict and friendly which enable them to put their best during the training session

I brought my daughter to swan swim almost a year ago, and I’m very satisfied with her progress. The instructors are amazing, the pool itself is warm and very suitable, change rooms are good as well. I was away for almost 5 weeks, and Elnaz Ghadiri; swim instructor went beyond her job responsibilities and looked after my daughter in change room helping her with shower and blow drying her hair, I appreciate her support, she’s very kind and caring. I highly recommend them.

Swan swim school is not consistent. Some instructors are awfully demeaning when handling younger children with fear of water. Those said instructors will use fear and raise their voice to bully them into swimming. This teaching philosophy may traumatize younger kids. Some instructors are however better with younger children ...again inconsistent teaching philosophy.The administration office is also extremely unprofessional. They don't allow rebooking of missed classes. Their system is manual and makes booking extremely frustrating.

Our preschooler started taking swimming lessons here four months ago. We’ve seen how his coach uses a variety of techniques and tricks to help him work through his fear of water and learn the different skills he needs. It really takes a lot of patience and guidance. We’re excited to have witnessed some breakthroughs in his learning, thanks to the supportive and experienced coaching here. We especially appreciate Mo the owner’s passionate help with our son during those times when he had particular struggles with fear of water

My elder son had learned swimming in three countries since he was 2, he started early and learned slowly, he was afraid of going into the pool, his previous coaches always asked us to do more practice at home, he did but no more big progress. After the pandemic, we came back to Markham, and enrolled in swan swimming school during the March break of 2023, he learned really fast, he can swim by himself by freestyle and backstroke in June with confidence, no fears! It’s amazing, good coaches: Mo, Reza, Fahard, and the ladies. The coaches are patient and professional, they told me swimming is not only a kind of sport but it’s a skill to save your life. They build up the inner confidence and telling how to swim under the different situations. We will keep going with the team, I am planning to bring my twins too. BTW: the pool is too busy, I found there are more and more students come to learn swimming, more space is required, really recommend the school for learning swimming.

My son (turning 5) started to learn swimming this January at Swan Swim School. Initially, we were a bit concerned that it would be hard for him, as he had never been in the water before. However, by his third lesson, he was able to put his head into the water, float independently in the water, and kick his way across the pool. Coach Moe has been so good at building my son’s confidence, striking a perfect balance between patience and encouraging the children to attempt new techniques/get out of their comfort zone! After a couple months of learning, my son is now learning freestyle and breast stroke. More importantly, he enjoys going to swimming lessons. Highly recommended!

Mo is AMAZING! The best swim school for learning how to swim or perfect your technique. Mo is professional and keeping the swimmers engaged. He has helped my son to build a very strong and solid foundation in swimming. We have been to different swim schools and nothing compares to Mo. You will not regret putting your children in Swan swim school because they are simply the best!

This review is specifically about the incredible Mo, the instructor and co-founder of Swan Swim School. Mo taught our taught our daughter many years ago through all the levels of the Red Cross swim program. She started out as a crier on the benches and he patiently grew her confidence in the water, nurtured her love for swimming, and refined her technical aspects in all four strokes (he has a PhD in Sports). When she completed the program, he encouraged her to continue growing her swimming potential by joining competitive swimming. Now at the age of 14 she is the 2023 provincial champion at the Ontario Swim Championships for the 14 year old womens 200 meter breast. We owe her strong foundational beginnings in swimming to Mo!

My son Benjamin is attending here for the past 4 months. Starting at absolute beginner now he can swim one lane easily as a 5 years old.The teachers here are not young’s kids, these are experienced teachers having years of experience under their belt.You can see they enjoy teaching kids and challenging them while keeping the fun part a priority . My son has been taught by a few people here but his favourite is Moe, the owner who really pushes his limits further while keeping it cool

The swimming lessons offered for children exceeded my expectations as a parent. The instructor's wealth of experience and expertise in teaching young swimmers shone through every session. Their ability to engage and guide children in learning swimming techniques was truly exceptional. I observed significant progress in my child's swimming abilities, fostering a sense of accomplishment and confidence. I wholeheartedly recommend these outstanding swimming lessons for kids.
