Ultramar - Gas Station

Every Country Style in Canada lets you fill up your own mug and save a few cents and the environment by not needing to take a new cup and lid. Apparently that doesn't matter to the guy working the register today. Mentioning it to him made no difference as I was charged full price. I then grabbed a cup and lid and thru it in the garbage to protest this silly change, won't be buying coffee here anymore as convenient as this location is for me...

As of recently a different employee has been working evenings/nights consistently and he should not be allowed to interact with customers. I stopped in the other day and noticed he recently stopped ringing in all of my lottery ticket redemptions and purchases on the main till, when I made a comment he got very aggressive and defensive. For all the months I have been coming here on Monday or Wednesday evenings I never had any issue with the former night employee ringing everything through as I like to have a paper trail of all my lottery on my receipt instead of waiting to see how good the employees quick math is doing deductions and just ringing in extras"... Fyi not usually very good. Theres an Esso and another Ultramar down the street I'll be going to from now on. Such a shame

I work straight evenings and finish work at 1130. I’ve been stopping at this gas station on my drive home from almost 5 years. All the previous night shift employees have been great. The most recent night shift employee refuses to activate the pump and demands you pay at the pump even when internally go to a pump that isn’t pay at the pump. But after you pay at the pump you can still walk inside and buy refreshments and snacks. When asked why you have to pay at pump he argues you that it has always been that way after 11pm, which is new to me seeing how I’ve been going there longer then he has worked there. Will be avoiding from now on and going to another gas station

There is a little snack shack on the inside. Decent price. Hotdogs are hotdogs. Fries are ok. I'm picky with my fries so that should say a lot. I would go back once in a while.

They water down the hand soap and leave you little to none toilet paper. Staff are also very rude. Avoid this place.

great staff but the pumps take WAY too long to load through the menu and process payments

The fact that the sandwiches and wraps area doesn't have any prices is deceiving. Ended up not being great and expensive. Half the sandwhich didn't have any stuffing. You can only find out when you go to pay. Prices for ice are more expensive than the price tag shows which is also deceiving. Won't be returning.

Edit. I returned with a friend a few nights later and a different employee was working. Nice to see safety standards met.Employee was serving customers in an open area with his mask on his chin. No thoughts of safety for others during a Pandemic.

Busy place. They got everything here.Gas,diesel,air pump that works even in -25c weather, and a indoor chip truck idea (hot dogs,fresh French fries(always ask for no lid u get more fries) poutine etc..) even have a truckers area in back.People there were very friendly and helpful.Thanks for the great experience.

Been staying here waiting to load out for 4 days. 4 days that back bathroom has had NO hand soap. Bathrooms haven't been cleaned once. Literally made me freak out this morning. Pretty bad when you have to fight yourself to go in there like an outhouse.... truckers deserve a clean bathroom and hand soap. Disgusting guys....
