The kids the goes to this school makes this place a horrible environment. Bullying was a big issue over 10 years ago, I can imagine now.. The teachers were great and knowledgeable but hopefully they pay more attention to the students behaviours.

Excellent! My Son just graduated from this school and the staff decided to continue with the graduation ceremony even though the CUPE union was on strike that day. Many thanks to all that made the effort to keep this graduation ceremony on and putting the students first. Especially considering they had a less than exciting and normal high school experience with the covid lock downs for the two years prior. Thanks to all at Weston C.I!!!!

I loved all the Humanities, The Arts and the World Studies courses. Mr. Anthony is awesome, the ASD program is really good (huge credits to Ms. Sokolovska, Ms. Marshall and Ms. Marques) and the school was culturally diverse which was the main reason why I loved Weston. There were some sour parts to Weston. Some of the teachers were a joke, a few of the Child and Youth Workers (except for a couple I adored) sucked and didn't do their jobs properly. Most of the students there didn't pick up after themselves and bullied other students. I miss it but am happy to be out of there!

I lived in a small quadplex apartment on an adjacent lot to this sr high school from 2006-2011.My memories of crossing this school involved being harassed, and robbed. A second time I was assaulted at knife point. Keep in mind the police luckily investigated and caught the perp because he had stolen my phone and had taken photos of himself on it.All these students came from this school. If youre slightly interested in your childrens future... take the time to check it out for yourself before enrolling. Maybe its changed since then.

Amazing school! The support team from guidance is tremendously amazing especially Ms. Galanis. Most teachers are quite amazing. The past vice principal Ms. Kelly was great. The principal Ms Cynthia is Excellent. Overall, it's a very great school as I presently have 2 kids there.

Both my daughter and son are/were in this school and it has a good principal, great teachers. It has a friendly atmosphere and for an inner city highschool it is pretty mellow. Both kids have never felt scared or unsafe, the kids get along pretty much. It has the advanced learning program and when my daughter was going here, a girl was accepted into Harvard from here. It has an indoor swimming pool, which is open all summer long and there arent many high schools that have them. It is multicultural, and the kids have been in school together since grade and middle school. There is a definite comrodory between the kids and in 12 years of living in the area, I cant think of one example of violence, and I know of a couple of moms that sent their boys to Chamanade, and the peer pressure, drug use and trouble, was wayyy more prevalent. I know of 3 mothers in the area who are schoolteachers who sent their kids here, which says alot. Dont knock an inner city school!
