Systema Russian Martial Art by Vladimir Vasiliev

Systema by Vladimir Vasiliev is one of the most detailed and excellent programs/lessons I have ever seen. The atmosphere is fun, energetic, and has me ready to learn. The YouTube videos show close-ups and slow-motion segments of movements in order to make everything clear. This allows me to learn the moves far more efficiently and effectively. The staff is welcoming and ready to work with you to answer any concerns and questions that you may have. This has improved my life and my happiness, thank you Systema staff.

I have been attending classes at Vladimir's school for a few years. I started training initially for the combative aspects of Systema, but quickly discovered that the physical and psychological health benefits from this art are equally valuable. As a fighting system, it is not technique-based, but focuses instead on applying principles of body mechanics in real-world applications. As such, proficiency in Systema takes time and patience to develop but in my experience has been more than worth the investment. It is a devastatingly effective and versatile combative system - but beyond this, training with Vladimir and the other instructors here builds character and psychological strength. Vladimir himself is incredibly approachable and shares his art with generosity and transparency.I also recently started the Family Classes along with my daughter (8 years old) and she has shared with me that in the handful of classes so far she feels much more confident and is developing better movement. These classes are also a great way for parents to strengthen relationships with their kids through a fun and useful activity.Without reservation, I would recommend Vladimir's school to anyone interested in self discovery, personal well being, and learning an effective real-world fighting system.

Highest quality martial arts instruction, health improvement, and more. Vladimir and everyone are very friendly, welcoming, and warm and the facilities are first class. I think that Systema needs to be experienced to be understood, so do yourself a favor and try it out. I believe you will be really glad that you did. I know that I am.

As both a visiting Student and Instructor who has in the past, had the privilege to train with Vladimir & other senior Instructors at Systema HQ; there are insufficient words to adequately describe the quality of training, the breadth of subjects covered, the friendliness and belief in what they teach, as here in Toronto. One beauty of Systema is that it accepts persons with or without martial art experience; for here everyone treats everyone equally such is the humility of the Art. One of my favourite places on earth! Systema HQ is the place to be to study martial arts, health and most importantly, yourself. Vladimir is a living legend when it comes to martial arts, and beyond that he is also a master teacher. He has created a warm, welcoming space where you can dig deep inside and learn about yourself. The more I study Systema, the more I love it. The people are amazing. So many unique and interesting perspectives from students of various martial art and healing backgrounds. I highly recommend training here!
