Sam's Pampered Pets

This is what happens when you try to support some local business. I recently purchased a St Croix fishing rod from Sam’s pampered pets( who are a St Croix dealer). This rod cost 200$. Before even using it, the glue holding the reel seat together fell apart making the rod completely unusable. The rod was defective before even leaving the store.After multiple phone calls, multiple visits to the establishment and leaving my phone number twice, Allen and Jen would not return my calls or reach out to me. They had an employee call me back over a week after my first inquiry to tell me it wasn’t their problem and the moment the product left the store it is not their problem. St Croix has a good warranty but now on a brand new product I never even got to use I have to pay the 60$ shipping charge to get the replacement.Sams pampered pets does not stand behind their products and will not help you if you have a problem. The managers dont even have the decency to return a phone call regarding a premium product. I will never shop there again and I would suggest the same to anyone thinking of shopping there.

It's not every day that you walk by a store and see a chicken in the window, let alone be greeted by their 'staff' of pets. Great quality and fair price, I've brought the kids in a few times now! Make sure to bring bait buckets for minnows.

They are a great addition to the community. My mom buys her dog food there. Get one free after so many bought.

Great family owned per store in Belle River! Always friendly and always willing to help out or just chat about fish! Nice relaxed atmosphere and a good selection of fish, aquariums and accessories, dog and cat accessories, pond fish and plants as well as a dog grooming facility!!Always a great store to pop into to see what is in the tanks!Found a new friend today to add to the 125 gallon tank!This little guy is a Tyre Track Eel (Zig Zag Eel) and is just a baby!One of the few remaining family owned per store businesses that need all out support!

Best selection of koi I have found, and at great prices! Sam and his staff are hardworking and knowledgeable. I could not be happier with the koi I purchased and the friendly service. Thanks Sam!

I attend this establishment for the grooming part of it. The groomers are so patient, and handle my senior boxer with great care. Jada gets her nails clipped about every 3 weeks, they definitely take the time to make Jadas visit a pleasant one. Thank you ladies!! Your the best!!!

Quick service. The store is clean and organized. This store is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. They have some fish, aquariums, and fish keeping supplies. They also have fishing supplies. There's food for small animals, and of course cat and dog food.We visited here for a half bale of Timothy hay and the hay is of good quality and well priced. Locally grown too.

Friendly staff, they knew exactly what was needed. Went in for bait and bobbers for the kids rods. Great prices and great first experience. Will be our go to place when we return for more fishing.

For a small family pet store, they have more than many of the chain stores such as 2 sizes of crickets. Support your local small businesses when you can. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
