First time visiting the shop. Tried a number of items. Tarts, bars, cookies. Everything was WAY too sugary. All I could taste was the sugar and butter. No real flavor other than that unfortunately. Gave me a headache and made my teeth hurt. There are much better bakeries in the city and for the same price point.

The super local bake shop! Always fresh.Of course their butter tarts are the best to be had best to be had but they also have much more to offer. I've tried a variety of baked goods from sweet to savoury and have yet to have a poor experience.Recommend the quiche for something savoury. Or one of their specialty loaves of bread. For sweet #1 butter tart. Or try one of their delicious cinnamon buns, bonus points for serving it warm.

I am on a diet due to health considerations, so I did not go in, but my wife did and picked up some treats for friends and family. And yea, a couple for me. (A lot less than if I'd been picking) The imperial with lemon filling are wonderful, and the buttertarts are devine. Cheerfully buy more stuff from them.

Stopped in for some butter tarts for family gathering. We had heard they were so great. We were not impressed. The pastry is like cardboard. The fillings are not buttery and sweet, but rather gelatinous. For the price they definitely did not impress and I will not be back.

The most delicious butter tarts ever! Pastry is flakey but doesn’t crumble when you bite into it. Lots of filling.

I applaud you for the recent hiring of the young lady from Ukraine. My ancestors immigrated to Canada over 100 years ago from Germany and the Ukraine. They’re was no government handouts or assistance provided these days. Codependency between individuals and government did not exist. They worked hard like many of our relatives that built this country for what it is today. That is my heritage and culture. Good for you.

If you like butter tarts, GO HERE! This is such a cute little shop. Their butter tarts are, by far, the best I've ever had! The gourmet pecan raisin are so delicious. The crust is nice and flakey and the filling is generous and rich. They have many different flavors to choose from (skor, white chocolate, etc.) They also carry many other bakery items, both sweet & savory. I would recommend checking their shop out if you're in the area. They had cupcakes, soup, mini pizzas, cakes, pies, etc. You will definitely find a few gems in there! Oh their staff is also VERY friendly so it was a very nice experience buying from them.

Pecan tart: good filling but the crust was a bit too flakey. The lady was friendly and excited to talk about her bakery, and gave us a couple samples. They've got some gluten free options too.

Great baked goods. Only weird thing I found was how their POS setup asks for a tip. Sorry, but I'm not tipping for groceries. Especially when it was $6.50 for a loaf of bread.
