Bear Creek Provincial Park
Very decent hike for the mediocre hiker. I enjoyed the mixed of stairs and the slopes. I would not recommend with little kids as there is very steep trails are there. I enjoyed a lot being first time on this trail. I would also recommend going with hike buddy to support each other in case of emergencies.

Booked site 13 because on the map it shows this site well distanced from the double site and also the site on the other side. Site 13 is literally part of the double site which was occupied. In addition to this, the trail system which is shown on the map to NOT run behind this site, actually runs directly behind the campsite so that you have a constant stream of people walking through your campsite. If this was shown on the booking system or map accurately, I would never have picked this site even if the last one available!Beyond the negative experience due to the site I was in, the park itself is good. I think I would have enjoyed campground if I was in a decent location.

Bear Creek Provincial Park is a very nice Park near to Kelowna. There are a few different hiking routes where even children can go. There are also a few different view points where you can have a nice look into The Valley and the waterfall. On the point that is the most far away from the beginning there is a bridge where you can cross the river.

One of my favourite hikes, 20-30 minutes from downtown Kelowna! Stunning views, and waterfalls! Also one side is done up with wooden stairs and easy to climb. This is an easy to moderate hike and takes about 1-to-1.5 hours! Great quick hike for the day you skip the gym or had too much wine the night before ;)

Camped here several times. This park boasts some the BC Parks finest employees. They’re all so friendly. There are a few full service sites (hydro/water/sewer) there are also about 40 sites with o it 30am service. The reminder of sites have no services other than a fire pit and picnic table.Lovely beach and a short hiking trailer located across the road. Will definitely return.

Loved this campground. Very family friendly. The park is immaculate as are the washrooms and showers. The sites are cleaned so well between campers it's amazing. There is a small beach for dogs away from the main beach that our Lab enjoyed. It is a very busy park. We were lucky enough to get a spot on the weekday we drove in however, we understood that was unusual. You cannot make reservations if your arrival is within two days, in that case it's first come first served.

This place is positively beautiful. Amazing beach. Campsites are spacious and super clean. Playground is practical brand new and separated in two spots targeted at different ages. Like, great setup overall.Rating at 3 stars special for a couple things that are rather out of place for somewhere so nice to me.Dump station is across the highway from the campground, and even as a guest you still have to pay $5 to dump. The other reviews talking about patrols through the campground being constant are also true. Cart rolls through every 5 to 15 minutes all day. I don't know if it's bad, but it is odd.The big one for me is they lock the gates at 11pm, and keep them locked till 7am. We were traveling through from Banff to Vancouver, so not being able to start moving early was pretty annoying. I get locking a gate coming in, but would appreciate a way to leave if you get moving early.

This was our first weekend camping trip of the season, and with a new rig. It was turned out to be so enjoyable and the weather was stunning!Amenities provided here. Bathrooms with a shower, though we did have our own so never used them. We purchased extra firewood ($12/bundle) and noted that there was a seasonal beach rental shack (offering SUP, kayaks, etc) opening June 21, 23 for use. Further along into the summer and the water will be lovely for swimming or your favorite water sport! There are a mixture of sites available at Bear Creek; some back onto Bear Creek, Okanagan Lake, playgrounds or green space. We did find that it would've been nice to have a bit more privacy between us and the next site, though noted there were certainly some more private sites available. We also learned that there are a few sites will full hook ups.Bear Creek Provincial Park is across the street with over 5km of well-marked hiking trails, waterfallsAll in all, a great first stay to kick off the season and we look forward to visiting again.

I loved this place more than I expected. It is nice and quiet, and the lake was beautiful and nice to kayak on. I'd 100% camp here again. My only complaint is the sounds of the highway, but it's not the worst thing in the world.
