Amazing and fresh! Love this place. Greeted with smiles and the hospitality was warm and welcoming. I have food allergies and they were super helpful. Vigi made me something to eat and it was so damn tasty! So good and reasonably priced. I literally was seat dancing when I took a bite. So much flavour and the chicken was moist and perfectly cooked. I will definitely be back, maybe even tonight. My mouth is watering thinking about it haha

Just in the mood for some comfort food, I stopped by Garthy Takeout. I had such a welcoming experience. Vijji was very attentive, she explained the menu, and also gave me a sample of Kathu Roti. She also told me to try the egg plant, which I told her, I don't like, but she insisted and OH MY GOD! I have never tasted eggplant l like that. Now to the food review, I will be back for the eggplant dish. The Biryani comes with a whole boiled egg which was a nice surprise. Mutton curry was spicy but good spicy. Food is very flavorful. Vijji is such a sweetheart. Do give this place a try. Sana

Veg kothu was average and not crispy. Dosa tasted like a non-veg - either oil or tawa used for fish / egg earlier. We replaced Dosa with sambar when we reported about cross-contamination.Sambar was very good. chutney was average.

Dosa taste was good. 1st time try but its good. Dal is might be south indian style, i loved gujarati style dal. Chatni is delicious. Dal quantity is low against of dosa size. It could be better if it was provide eat on place because dosa layer is very soft when pack for take out. Packing style is appreciate.

We had tried a lot of snacks from this location, and the snacks, as seen, are the pictures that were amazing, tasty, and fresh. Will recommend to all for authentic South dishes such as Wadas and dosas.

So happy we came across this place!We just recently moved to Whitby and have been looking for good Sri Lankan cuisine. We happen to stumble upon this place and it was the best discovery. The food is amazing! So fresh and tasty! I sometimes wake up craving the food and have made many trips ever since.Not only is the food amazing but the people there are so kind, friendly and welcoming. I wouldn’t think twice before recommending this place! Definitely give it a try and I’m sure you’ll go back for more!

Coming from the West end of Toronto, I am deeply happy that I have found this restaurant near my house. The food is honestly amazing and the best part is everything is so very fresh! The staff are amazing and the food taste even better! A must try for those who would like to try a South Asian cuisine!

I've ordered catering from here a couple of times and they're very accommodating with the time and item requests and the food is fresh and very tasty. Both the vegetarian and non veg items are quality products. A gem in the east end.

This place showed when we searched for Indian food near us. Lunch specials had few options and tastes homely. Kothu roti was great, vada was very fresh and delicious. The lady who takes order offered me free Sambar with Vada. Friendly and outstanding service that will make us visit this place often.
