Milani Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning

We had a clogged drain which we were unable to clear and water was backing up faster each day. I called Milani plumbing at about 0930 on a Sunday and actually got a real live person to talk to (David I think). He took the details and said a technician would contact me between 12 noon and 3 pm. Just before three Steve called and said he would be at my house in 10-15 minutes. Sure enough a Milani truck pulled up after 10 minutes or so. I chatted with Steve and showed him where the blockage was backing up to and where the clean out was. He was very personable and easy to deal with and told me what he would do to fix the problem. I was very impressed with his willing attitude and his knowledge. An hour later the job was done, all cleaned up and a word of advice to replace the sink drain which was showing signs of an occasional leak.All in all I was very impressed with the service, punctuality, and reasonable cost and would certainly recommend this company to anyone.Well done!Richard Lupton, North Vancouver

Drew was very friendly, efficient and informative. He replaced the expansion tank and took the extra step to support its suspension with a looped bracket, so this hopefully doesn't happen again. I was completely confident in his ability.

I've just had a very frustrating experience with Milani.A few weeks ago, my furnace motor stopped working. So I phoned the company and booked a service call to come and repair the motor. On the phone they were kind and efficient, and I was pleased that they'd be out the next morning to give it a look.When the technician, Ali, arrived, he looked at the motor, oiled it, and banged it with a hammer. Agreeing that the motor needed to be replaced, he declined to fix the problem because he felt that we needed a new furnace instead. He then proceeded to write me an estimate for a $7500 furnace replacement, bill me for a $236 service call, and leave. Throughout, Ali was rude and dismissive. His reason for refusing to perform the service was that it was a safety issue."After he left

I have used Milani on a number plumbing and heating fixes over the years. Their professionalism and prompt service has kept me coming back. My most recent experience was no exception. The technician (Mark L) was able fix a clog that I had wasted over a day trying to clear myself. I wish I had called them earlier.

I have used Milani services a few times in the past. Even though their rates are high, but they do a really good job and I have never had to call them back for a second visit. The last service that they performed in my condo was even better. The technician (Hossein) was very nice, efficient and understanding. Even though he had to park his truck far away from my house (due to traffic repairs) he didn't mind carrying his tool box all the way to my house and he did a great job fixing my toilet. Way to go Hossein.
