Island Breeze

My item , an awning , was shipped late and arrived damaged . The owner has ignored multiple communications to correct the problem . I have had to pay to ship a replacement item a second time.I had hoped to support a local business - next time I will use Costco.

Island Breeze was professional and friendly and I can't say anything but how awesome they were in explaining exactly what was required for my custom door screens and how they would look after installation. The installer was fast and professional and my screens work amazing. I also really appreciated the sticker on the screens to remind us not to walk right through! A bonus is that if my dog walks right into the screen it will open instead of being damaged. I would highly recommend this business to anyone that asks!

We were happy with Island Breeze until will needed some service. The awning mounts had pulled away from the house making the awning unusable. The product seems fine, the installation not so much.I contacted Bill on June 1st about the problem. After much prompting Bill finally said on June 22nd that he might be able to look at it in September. This means we would have no awning for the hot summer months.This leaves me with no realistic choice but to try and fix it myself - not something I am looking forward to.Update 2022 - responding to vendors comments.1 - I have heard nothing from this company since I asked for help, now years ago. More interested in the google rating than my product it seems.2 - When I did dismantle the awning to fix it the reason for the failure was clear. Supporting beams were mickey mouse and lag bolts that failed were not securely in the beams - they were just spinning in cracked beams.3 - somehow this issue seems to be my fault - I did not leave it out in the wind" as the vendor suggests.AVOID"

We are very pleased with the product quaility and the service we received from Bill and his installation crew. We had two screen doors installed quickly and with great communication. The price was outstanding, and we happily recommend Island Breeze!

I can't say enough about their customer service. 8 years after installing our screen door we had a problem with our cat/dog pushing the screen door open. They came out and fixed it promptly at no charge. Don M

We have bought two screen doors and an awning from Bill. Measuring was prompt, products installed on time as promised. A minor issue with the awning was promptly fixed. Bill and his right hand man Shaun have been a pleasure (and fun) to deal with. Top people with a top product.

What a great company! Fast professional installation. It was a perfect fit for our deck. From the initial consultation through completion Bill was always available. So many styles, patterns, and colours to choose from. We chose a striped pattern to match the colour of our siding. It looks beautiful. I can now use my BBQ year round. The mechanism is quiet and easy to use with the handy remote. I wish we had made this purchase years ago. There was not a hint of high pressure sales pitch. We were given estimates for all different sizes, and it was left for us to decide which one we would choose. We totally recommend Island Breeze for your choice of awning suppliers. Their installation crew are the best!

I’ve been struggling with my front door since we moved in 2 years ago. Always having to yank on it to open and close it. Finally fed up, I was lucky to find Island Breeze online. The owner, Bill, and his staff were very friendly and wonderful to work with! They diagnosed and fixed my issue within 2 hours and my door works perfectly now! Had an awning installed and replaced the privacy glass in my door. Bill and his team were great to deal with. Great customer service and did a fantastic job. And good pricking. Highly recommended
