Pretty cool store, with a gallery upstairs. Wonderfully eclectic.They sell everything from one-of-a-kind jewelry, jam, soap, sculptures, crafts and all things unique. This place has a bit of class and culture, and adds to the overall merit or this town as a worthwhile spot to visit.

Amazing collection of crafts and art work, much of museum quality. Also includes more affordable items. Definitely worth going to Bear River if you are in Nova Scotia -- it will be a highlight of your trip!

A fantastic gallery loaded with fine quality crafts from Nova Scotia. Also included is local Indigenous crafts. From jewelry to glasswork to sculptures to knitwear , silk scarves, deer skin drums , pottery, paintings and more. I could buy everything!

This is a must-see stop at the western end of the Annapolis Valley. Rob, and now Carmen helping him, have assembled remarkable art by local painters, potters, carvers, weavers, and other craftspeople. There is a good selection of evocative work from the Bear River First Nations community, and a tidy shelf of books written by local authors or with a local connection. Downstairs you find the coffee mugs and the wooden toys, the jewelry and the hard-to-categorize works. Upstairs is primarily paintings--an art gallery full!

Wow, such really cool art works, amazing local artists! My sister was here from Vancouver and fell in love with a sculpture, we will be back tomorrow to buy it and keep it until her 70th birthday next year. She will be over the moon! Definitely drop in for a browse, Bear River is a wonderful place to visit.

One of my favorite galleries to visit. My family and I go to browse every summer while we visit family, and we love seeing all the beautiful art displayed there.
