SIXT Rent a car

INFLEXIBLE AND UNACCEPTABLE SERVICEI had to decide against renting my car from this location.Booked my car for two nights via Orbitz. Called the customer services of this rental company ahead of time to check what is the latest I can collect the car and I was advised I have one hour guest time from 530 which means until 6:30 PM when I arrived at 6:20 PM the location was closed and there is no one to attend the calls. The customer services representatives, next morning didn’t show any empathy, nor did he receive one from his manager, when I requested to return the car little later in the evening Sunday with the possibility of dropping keys off. And I was given a point blank answer no ONLY BY 5:30PM, though most downtown rentals have an arrangement with hotels to return the car and leave the keys off.

I unfortunately forgot his name, but the Asian man that works here was excellent at his service. Super friendly, communicative, thoughtful, and even gave us recommendations on what to do and where to go in Vancouver. Was even kind enough to let us use the amazing 2022 BMW 300i which was excellent on gas as we travelled around the city a lot. We will happily return as a customer in the future, thank you!

Avoid this questionable operation. It is a blemish on the Sixt reputation. I used a major credit card to pay $800 for a reservation in the Sixt app. When I went to pick up the car, this office refused to accept the exact same card and honor the reservation. Left me without a car and refused to give me a refund. Instead they send me to a corporate help line, who just send me back to the branch on a wild goose chase.

High quality cars with good price and wonderful staff. In particular, one of the staffs, an Asian gentleman (sorry I forgot to ask his name) was able to resolve my windshield problem promptly. Highly recommend!

We normally rent cars from one of larger firms but we were staying in downtown Vancouver on Robson and Sixt was a short walk from our hotel and we wanted to rent a car for the day to drive up to Whistler. We were able to reserve a car online the night before and walked down to the Sixt office. We were greeted by a very professional and curious gentleman named Ken. He gave us very clear instructions for where to find the car and how to return it. The only problem was that their hours were 8am to 5:30pm and there was no after hours drop box. We did not think we would make it back by 5:30pm and our train let at 6am the next morning. Ken asked us to leave the keys at the front desk at the hotel and he would walk down and pick up the keys the next morning. I thought this was very accommodating!! So if Ken is an example of Sixt service then I will be a Sixt convert!! Well done!

Possibly the worse experience I've had in my life, Jocelyn the brown general manager is presumably the most despicable person I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. She instantly judged me on the stature of my clothing and made up some lie about the computer not working when I watched her help countless customers before and after me not only that her whole deminer changed when goin back and forth between customer and myself if I could rate this a 0 I would. She's known to do this to my friend and his girlfriend I can't believe she charged me over the phone for the extension of my rental then when I came in to sign paper she tricked me out of the car I have already paid for and then told me in order to get. My money back that would be 8 business days...........unprofessional is not the word.I am a honest and hard working person I don't know where she gets off treating pepole like such NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE THIS PLACE IS PREDJUICE AND THEY STEAL RIGHT FROM YOU AND THEN TELL YOU TO WAIT 8 BUINESS DAYS.......NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS WOULD I RECOMMEND YOU GUYS TO ANYONE EVER ILL MAKE SURE TO LET EVERYONE KNOW WHAT A WONDERFULL JOB YOU DID.

Super efficient! Friendly staff and absolutely top notch cars. Got an upgrade to a BMW X3 which had clocked less than 20k kms!

We hired a car for a week for a trip to Banff and back. The guy that served us (I did not catch his name) was amazing. He was so helpful and as we took out the premium insurance he kindly offered us an upgrade from our Ford to a BMW. This was an awesome gesture and was much appreciated. The service here was excellent and I would definitely use them again if we visited Vancouver.

Very professional service from this branch. I ordered a SUV at 08:00 then picked up a brand new BMW X3 at 10:00, quick and efficient at the desk when collecting my car. Many thanks to Cedrick who made the pick up and drop off super easy!

Literally the worst rental car experience I’ve ever had. Car was 15 minutes late past scheduled pick up time. First car they gave me reeked of smoke. Second car had huge scratch damage. I documented it and went on my way. Three days after my return of the car, they tried to claim the damage was caused by me. I have picture and video proof during pickup documenting the damage was from a previous renter. I only did this because I was appalled as I’ve never received a rental car with so much damage before. The elevators to and from the car parkade reek of urine and had cctv cameras missing, which allowed random people to loiter and led to a pretty bad environment upon pickup and return. So much for a “luxury” experience.
