Everitt Gardens, an Optima Living community

My grandmother has lived here since it opened. It is a very nice facility with many amenities. Everything is very clean, the bathrooms are huge and very safe. My gramma is very well taken care of. The woman at the front desk remembered it was her birthday only a few days earlier. Little things make all the difference.I can't speak for the quality of the food, but my grandmother hasn't complained. She prefers simple food and likes the routine so that is somewhat of a non-issue for her.Not sure how much rent is, but I know it is not inexpensive. From what I have seen it seems to be worth it as she is cared for well.

My mom unfortunately was in a recent fire that destroyed everything. My son and I met with Angie a couple days later. Angie made sure that my mom had everything she would need to move in and be comfortable. Furniture, dishes etc. The staff are absolutely amazing and have helped my mom fit into her new community.Thank you so much everyone at St.ARR

Our daughter is an LPN at SARR and she loves working there, she has had nothing but good things to say about the staff and management. When it came time to find a new home for my in-laws moving them to SARR was a no brainer. My in-laws moved in at the beginning of August and we have not regretted the decision for one second. They have settled in beautifully and are participating in the many activities offered at the residence. The staff are amazing and the recreation aids are always on the look out for them to get them involved in activities. Many thanks to Angie, Norine and Rene for making it such a smooth transition. Also Jessica is a definite keeper, what a great representative she is for your organization, always so friendly and helpful. I've also had dealings with Craig, it's obvious that when you have great leadership, you have great staff. From what I have experienced personally, and heard from others, Craig provides topnotch leadership and this comes through in our interactions with any of the staff.

I lived here with my husband Harry from 2019 to December 2021. We had to leave due to Harry’s health as he needed Long Term Care.When Harry passed in March 2023, I came back here within a few days because I was so happy here! Staff and residents are unbelievable and I never even considered moving anywhere else. Maintenance, Recreation, Chef and all staff are excellent. Any concerns are dealt with immediately or as soon as possible. I recommend this place to anybody. The location is great and the bus service is so convenient. . The bus driver Dennis is always so pleasant and willing to take us where needed…..including the cheesecake cafe in Spruce Grove yesterday and numerous scenic drives!

Our mother moved in to Saint Albert retirement residence last October into an independent living room. Unfortunately we live on Vancouver Island BC and cannot see her as much as we would like.Due to her dementia she has rapidly declined and is now on the list for a supportive living room.As you can imagine, this has been most difficult for all involved but due to the excellent care, services and staff at Saint Alberts at least we have peace of mind she’s being looked after.We cannot express what a great facility this is and we are so fortunate to have found it for our Mom.

Our parents have been living at the St. Albert Retirement Residence for a year now. They were treated like VIP's when they were moving in. We were grateful to the staff for making this transition so much easier for Mom and Dad. And thanks to the very professional, prepared and caring staff, they have gotten through the worst of the pandemic safely and are now fully vaccinated. This feels like such a blessing and a miracle but we know it is also the result of the hard work and procedures put in place by this great team of staff at STARR.

My mother moved to the St. Albert Retirement Residence after losing her home in a fire. This place has been fabulous – they took care of everything and made my mother comfortable and happy. All of the staff were so accommodating and helpful every step of the way. So impressed.

My parents have lived here for a year now, moving in right at the start of covid. The staff worked diligently and took extra measures to keep the residents safe, comfortable and happy.... even shopping for them when the residents were unable to! It is a very beautiful, clean, welcoming building that feels homey" and elegant at the same time. I loved looking at all the paintings down each hallway!The wonderful staff always find innovative ways to keep the residents entertained and their spirits up

Our Mom moved into the St.Albert Retirement Residence in September of 2020. She is extremely happy with her new home and wishes she had moved there sooner. The staff is warm and caring. They are always planning events and activities to keep the residents engaged. During Covid, they ensured that the physical and mental health of the residents was the top priority. We couldn't be happier with our decision.

Our Alice’s time at SARR wasn’t long, but it was meaningful. The staff at SARR are so caring and compassionate, it feels like your family member is their family member. When it was Alice’s time to transition, their support and care shifted to us. I cannot thank the staff enough for their love, compassion and care for Alice and those who loved her during her time at SARR. ❤️
