Spurrell Mark

Mark has been doing my taxes for a decade. I can't say enough that he makes the tax headache a breeze. I would recommend him to anyone . Very thorough preparation.

Had the exact same experience as Alan Clark’s post on here. In the past Mark helped me with a situation my accountant couldn’t help me with. I live in Toronto and wanted to see if he could help again before making the long drive to Oshawa. He was very rude and didn’t give me the chance to ask him my questions. He spoke to me like I was less than him and not worthy of his time. He said he has lots of clients and doesn’t have time for me. Also when I used him last time he charged me alot more than others accountants do. Save your money and being disrespected by going some where else. Last time I checked we live in a free country. Lots to accountants around to choose from. I will never give Mark another penny of my hard earned money or let his eyes look at a single accounting number I have for as long as I live. Mark please learn to speak to others with respects and not from your holier than thou accountant hill top.

Amazing experience, good people very warm and inviting, professional tax services with a small town family vibe. You get what you pay for, been going here for years and will go here for as long as I can.

Fantastic accountant and all round great guy. A friend told me about Mark in 2010 and my husband and I took our taxes to him. Would never use anyone else but him. We have referred many people to him and will continue to do so. Although getting your taxes done is not fun Mark seems to make it feel okay.

Mark is the third accountant I've used in Durham and hands down the best! Like most people , around tax time I get extremely stressed out . I am a newish buisness owner and dealing with the CRA and HST has been a learning experience. Mark has been so kind and takes the time to explain things especially when I feel like a complete idiot. I don't understand where some of these negative reviews come from , he's one of the most pleasant people I've dealt with in any business.
