If you're looking for a place or institution for your worship, you should look elsewhere. You probably don't want it to be a slumlord church" that ruthlessly rids the community of a high quality childcare that's been part of it for almost 25 years."

Shame on you, Willingdon Heights United Church. Forcing a closure of Puddle Jumpers daycare, a Church tenant of 24 years, by increasing their rent by a 100% and leaving dozens of parents and kids scrambling to find childcare in a community that's already in a desperate need of childcare centres is a new low.

For an organization here to serve the community, I'm extremely disappointed this church has decided to force this daycare out by raising their rent by 100%. My daughter loves going to Puddle Jumpers Daycare. She's made friends in the community, has excellent care, and has received amazing early childhood education. I waited well over a year for a spot to open up. It was worth the wait and now the children are at risk of losing this daycare entirely. I hope the church realizizes the negative impact this will have on our community and has a change of heart. We need this daycare and many more like just like it.

If I could give 0 stars I would for what they did today - they are forcing their daycare tenant to shutdown by jacking up their rents 100%!! Not very community focused for a church!!

Didn’t know such a drama of raising rents but, here is another reason to give out a 1 star review. People going to church will dump their garbage to the neighbor’s grass and waste bin or so. Being a d*ckhead mess around and go to church for going to heaven? Jesus won’t bless you if you are such pathetic person only knows to dump your Starbucks cup with your name on the grass.

One would think the importance of community in the life and mission of the church are paramount. Well, not for this church.I recently discovered Willingdon Heights United Church is forcing the daycare operating on their premises to vacate due to a ridiculously steep rent increase.A daycare that has played an instrumental role in our community for the past 24 years, a place where kids are nurtured and looked after with love and the utmost care.How can a church put money before the needs of children and their families? This is shocking and disheartening. Where is the sense of community? I would really like to know.
