This is such an excellent cuisine destination. The food is excellent, however the Mandi they are offering as a Yemeni Mandi is totally not Mandi. The atmosphere is super. The location and parking is good. The service was slow because there was only one waiter serving the entire place.

My husband and I wanted to take our friends for Mandi while we are in Ottawa. Most of the Mandi places were not open for dine in so we ended up at the House of Mandi.I was disappointed with the lack of availability on menu, but still ended up ordering quite a bit of food. Some of the food we ordered were the eggplant fatteh which was absolutely delicious; Lamb and chicken Mandi was great as well. Generally speaking, food was great. My entire experience at the restaurant would have been great if the service was better. We weren’t given water at all until our food arrived. We had to get up multiple times to order and as questions in regards to the menu and servers didn’t look interested to help us out were amongst some of the things that really stood out for all of us. Next time in town, I’d try other locations.

Crazy delicious authentic arabian food with an exceptional hospitality post pandemic. The interior design is gorgeous, I’m not much fan of green colour but the pistachio green on the dark grey made the place look warm and cozy with a touch of elegance throughout the luxurious lighting. The food was served in original silver plate with clean silverware . We ordered the Mandi Lamb rice, epic! The lamb was so tender and tasty. The quantities were very generous. The young ones ordered their hamburgers , they were juicy and delicious. Our host, the restaurant owner treated us as family. Then a sweet young lady, Huda was there to make sure everything was to our taste. They went above and beyond. They even treated us for a dish to taste, kabsae, which will certainly order next time.Highly recommend it to support a local restaurant who provides a great experience!

The best Middle Eastern cuisine I’ve visited in Ontario Canada. Everything is perfect. The internal decor is so amazing and they take extra care about the cleanliness and hygiene. The food is tasty and delicious, tender and juicy lamp which falls apart. The authentic Saudi tomato and chili sauce gave the rice a special kick.Portion size for a single meal is actually enough for someone who has been on an empty stomach for a day.Staff were very friendly especially the restaurant manager Mohamed, and Khaled who have came to our table several times to check on the food and if we needed any thing. If you are visiting Ottawa or live there you should try this cuisine. The place is highly recommended.

What was that!!Flies everywheretasteless boild plain riceWith fried onions on topNot nuts, not raisinsSeriouslyOnions !!!Is that mujaddara !!!!Fattoush had absolutely 0 taste 0 seasoning. Full of radishThey need to Google what fattoush is before putting it on the menuAnd the chicken was a whole different storyTo cover the stale taste, they deep fried a skinny tiny chicken (which was at least cooked a day beforeBut they couldn't covet the SMELLthey definitely know that, cause we've paid and left the whole meal on the tableSo their Mendi is =smelly deep fried stale chicken on onion& boiled riceThey kid who served us was super nice and politeBut.....Never again

I ordered family size mix platter (chicken and lamb) for takeout. The portion was generous and food was delicious. They said that food will be ready for pick in 30 mins while it took more than 45 mins to get ready! Rice and meats lacked spices. It came with the yogurt and salsa on the side.

I went to this restaurant as per my friend's suggestion. The food was good, although I had tastier food at other Yemeny restaurants.Men's bathroom was extremely dirty, a real disaster. The lady who served us wasn't friendly, as if we were a nuisance to her. She never came once to check if we were happy with the food or whether we needed anything else. I don't recommend it, and I definitely wouldn't go back.

Went House of mandi today for lamb and chicken mandi. It was the best Mandi I had in ottawa so far. Lamb meat was soft and delicious although chicken in mandi was bit dry and less juicy but was good in taste. The Lady who served us was also very nice and cooperative.
