Buffo Ristorante
We really enjoyed our lunch at Buffo. It is great that all the pasta is made in-house. We also really enjoyed our pizzas. We need a break from the mall and Buffo is a great place to enjoy great Italian food. We were served by Rohan who provided excellent service and suggestions from the menu. There is both an entrance from inside Saks Fifth Avenue as well as from outside the mall.

Russell, the GM, was our server and he was fantasic~! The pasta is made on the day of, thus customers don't get leftover pasta ever.The gnocchi and calamari is a MUST! Calamari is a soft, chewy version with little batter - offering a unique and delicious flavour.Looking forward to our next visit!

This place is located just next to Saks. It’s very aesthetically pleasing and they have an excellent selection of cocktails and wines. I came in for a quick bite to eat and glass of vino. I was pleasantly surprised the pasta was on special today for the quality. It was absolutely delicious. I’m gluten free and the GF pasta, alongside all the pastas are made from scratch daily. Russell made my experience one to remember. He recommended a wine pairing event that I ended up purchasing tickets for in June. He was very kind, polite and knowledgeable. I will be back soon most definitely. Cheers!

We were able to try this Michael Bonacini restaurant on our latest date night.We started off with Buffo Bread which is warm rosemary sea salt bread served with oils. It was delicious and we could have eaten soooo much more!I was debating between a couple dishes and the waiter suggested the Seafood Puttanesca which is spaghetti with calamari, shrimp, mussels, tomato, garlic and anchovies. I'm not typically a spaghetti fan but they make all the pasta fresh each morning and found it really delicious with a flavorful sauce.My wife had the Ricotta Gnocchi with baby arugula, cream, parsley and thyme. She added the pork and veal meatballs and really enjoyed it. The fresh gnocchi was so much better than what we've had elsewhere.For dessert we shared the Tiramisu and were pleased how good it was as we often are disappointed with it at other restaurants. The texture was perfectly creamy with a nice espresso flavor.Our service was amazing, one of the better ones we've had in forever. I don't remember his name but it was the gentleman with longer hair. He was very prompt, kind and easy to talk with.

Unfortunately that was one of the worst Italian restaurant I've been to. Chicken Parm was burnt to crisp - you can even see that in the photo, pasta was too oily and salty. Giving two stars instead of one cuz waitress was friendly and drinks were good.

The restaurant itself is very beautiful and the staff was friendly. The service was slow, for only a few people in on a Saturday night. I ordered the chicken parm and the pasta that came with it was very sour. It was a strange taste alongside. The other dishes ordered at our table were okay though. The garlic knots were very small so we were surprised when we saw the portion - for $8 (happy hour) you only get 4 little pieces of toasted bread. I don’t think we will be returning, but it’s worth a shot to try at least once.

The food itself is a B-. Service was good and the restaurant has nice decor and ambience but we wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend. We got the calamari, arancini, mushroom risotto, chicken parmigiana, and tiramisu. Food had nice presentation and served hot but overall it was just okay.

Can’t say enough about Buffo. Thanks to GM Russell and the entire team for a fantastic dinner. All pastas made daily in-house. I could stop there but I won’t. The decor is really cool. Try the Mushroom Ricotta Gnocchi. My wife had the special which was a beet fettuccini. We will be back.
