Cecile Lau Calligraphy

I was recently referred to Cecile by a good friend of mine, when I was trying to complete a DIY project for some place cards for my small wedding in August (which was not turning out how I wanted). There was only a week until the big day when I messaged Cecile. She saved the day!!I showed her some pictures of what I wanted and she provided me with a quote shortly after. I was able to pay via e-transfer and do contactless front door pick up (perfect during these times). The place cards were exactly what I wanted!I was so pleased after my first interaction/purchase that I decided to have her create a personalized announcement board for the arrival of our new baby. It turned out perfect and it was even better than the example that I sent to her of what I wanted.Cecile’s attention to detail is impeccable... she is a true artist! During the process of discussing my ordered items and going back and fourth with her, to decide on details, I found her to be very warm and caring. Although I have never met Cecile I can tell that she is a wonderful person and she cares about her clients and only wants to make them happy by providing exactly what they want... and more! I could not be happier with the items Cecile created for me.

Cecile was very easy to communicate with and had a very good understanding and way of putting together our seating chart. Her craftsmanship is remarkable and made for a lovely display at our wedding. I had the most fun experience working with Cecile on customizing my own personalized stationery set! Everything was just super easy. I shared some ideas about what I wanted with Cecile and she just knew instantly what I wanted and took off with it.She sourced for the exact paper I wanted (deckle edge paper) and presented me with options and price. Once I selected that, we got right on to calligraphy. She provided various options and listened to what I wanted and made revisions. It was so fun to be presented options based on what you want and just getting to pick the one you like best.It also doesn't hurt that Cecile is so sweet and so lovely and patient to work with. Oh and the pricing is so reasonable!! Loving my personalized stationery and can't wait to use it!

Cecile calligraphed rose gold Christmas ornaments for me. They were very lovely and the ornament colour made it very girly. She created such adorable gifts for my girlfriends. She has a nice touch and has an eye for detail and I can tell how passionate she is in creating these. Cecile also personalized black gift bags for me and it was so gossip girl-esque and classy looking; which was exactly what i was looking for. Xoxo, marie

Cecile did the calligraphy for my wedding a couple years back; seating chart and various signs. The calligraphy really provided an elegant touch and tied everything together. She also did customized acrylic Christmas ornaments for my boys. We love them!! Plus the packaging for the ornaments were very cute and professional.She is easy to work with, and loves what she does!
