Lived here for a couple of months now, really love it here! Shannon is the sweetest and very welcoming. The apartment is always clean and the inside is very nice! Love it here

Been living here since 2018. It’s a really great spot if you want to live in Oakville and be close to the mall or the college.Pros:- Fairly quiet building without an excess of shenanigans.- Pets allowed.- Amazing superintendent!- Pretty nice units- No roaches, mice, bedbugs, etc.Cons:- Price continuing to increase due to renovations & new building next door- Construction of apartment beside has been going on forever and is a bit annoying - especially from lack of access to comfort on balcony now- Laundry room closes at night now- Slight ant problem in units.- Wifi doesn’t adequately reach bedroom past concrete walls (but they did make a wifi room on main floor for anyone facing issues like this and needing to do work in that space)Either way, I know this space is safer, cleaner, and better than any of the other affordable options in Oakville. It could be perfect with a few changes, sure, but I’ll take it happily for where I’m at in my life right now.

Been living here since 2019 and absolutely love the building and the area that we are in. The building is always well maintained and very clean. I have never had an issue with loud neighbours on my floor or the neighbours above me! Great place to live.As for the other people mentioning ants — I have never had a huge issue with them. I only found if I left my cats wet food on the floor that’s when they would come out but after 2 treatments they are gone and have not come back! No other issues with bugs.

Good location (right across from Oakville place mall and walking distance to Sheridan college and bus stops) and the common areas are kept very clean. The only thing we’ve found is that there are many small ants in the building. We purchased ant traps to try to help but have found that the traps are more of a band aid solution to a larger problem. Overall a good place for students and small families in a good location.

Lived at 297 Queens for 4 years in two separate units, it’s a great building, nice and close to the mall, very well maintained, always clean, beautiful stainless steel appliances and renovated units.DMS Resident Portal needs a bit of work rent is a bit expensive considering the building is near a very noisy intersection, and the heat in the summer (and winter actually, pretty much all year) is pretty unbearable even with multiple air conditioners running.Beautiful view of the lake, they should clean the windows more often though so we can appreciate it fully.There was a bedbug outbreak last year, hopefully that’s been cleared up.Fire alarm rings WAYY to often for no reason, and not a lot of notice is given for testing days.I love the events they have for the tenants, hot-dog day is my absolute favourite!

It is a Great place to live in oakville, living here from last 2 years .Shannon is a amzing person helps everyone with everything! and Parking here is great! Package/mail pickup is convenient..the property here is so well kept and maintained. If you're looking for a good residence with no headaches in Oakville. This is the place for you

When we first moved in our shared toilet did not flush and we asked for it to be fixed. We were treated as ignorant students and told to purchase a plunger. After two months of politely asking for a plumber we were told that the previous tenants flushed items down the toilet and it all needed to be replaced. When we moved in the dishwasher didn’t have a motor and took weeks to fix. About a year into our lease I accidentally dropped a small chain bracelet, a priceless family heirloom, down the bathroom sink as the sink never had a plug. I asked the land lady, Shannon the borrow a wrench to retrieve it. She came into our apartment, once again treated us as ignorant children and again without a mask, and ran the water of the tap flushing away my late grandmother’s bracelet.The building is cockroach infested. We keep a clean apartment and even sprayed and they still won’t leave, truly disgusting. Not just in the kitchen all over the apartment. The apartment also does not offer heating or air conditioning and it becomes unbearable conditions to live in the the summer and winter months. There was also much loud construction in several surrounding apartments that would begin early in the day, and both rent and laundry fees were raise in our brief time living there. For the vast amount of problems that have occurred we were not fairly treated, respected, or compensated in any way. For what this apartment is, it is truly an overpriced scam that I do not wish upon anyone.

Great place, fairly quiet apart from the current construction. Very clean building overall, and excellent response time for resolving maintenance requests/apartment issues. Main cons are slight ant problem, laundry room closing at night, and yearly rent increases.

A really great place to live in. Quite and accessible environment.
