I want to share my experience with Toro Aluminum in hopes that they can do better in the future. Unfortunately my experience was awful and here is why.Our window broke during a renovation in December 2021, the Strata has insurance to cover the replacement of this and contacted Toro Aluminum (the original window installer) to replace the sealed unit in our 12th floor condo.... This is a 64 by 60" panel

Don't waste your time with this company. They will just ignore emails and let phone calls go to voicemail. The only person who does their job is the secretory who forwards the call to where you need to go. I had a broken glass door that was covered by warranty according to their glass techs but they made no attempts to get the replacement done. Last year May, my strata directed me to Toro as they were the installer and supplier of the glass balcony doors. They said their service coordinator at the time (Matt) was going to phone but didn't happen. I had to phone them to book the appointment myself. After they came in June and taped up the glass, told me they would be ordering new glass for me. Couple months go by and no word. I email them in Aug and Matt tells there is a shortage and it will be a while. I took their word for it. A few more months pass by and I send another email in Feb inquiring for an updating. I find out Matt changed roles and his replacement Camilo has taken over his role as of Sept. I wait a couple of weeks expecting an email or phone call but nothing happened. After a couple of emails and phone calls in the following weeks, sent to Camilo's voice mail, I finally get a hold of him in March. I told him my information and he said he remembers seeing my email but not responding. Said I was covered under warranty as they wouldn't have ordered the replacement glass. I find out that my glass was actually ordered last year in Aug and has arrived in their Coquitlam warehouse as of early March. He said he was going to physically check on the glass and find out why it was still sitting there. Should have went through quality inspection by then. And that was the last time I heard from him and the Toro. I sent a follow up email but everything I send at that point was going to be ignored. Their manager Ryan was cc'd in those emails so he doesn't care what happens.I stopped wasting my time and paid another glass company to replace my broken glass door. Took them a little over a month to quote, order, cut, and install a new replacement glass. Honestly, don't waste your time with Toro unless you like wasting time and not getting any service in the end.
