Doly Begum MPP for Scarborough Southwest

lame. also asked for help about issues with the Ministry of Health as I am also elderly. Ms. Begum made a lot of speeches about helping seniors yet did not even contact me (not even a condolence) when a relative of mine died from negligence in a nursing home. despite asking several times to speak with Begum I was denied. The girl vowed they would help and even gave a timeframe. weeks later they dropped all my papers off and did not do a thing. I did not even have a computer and they did not care. Smiles and a sweet voice does not show the true politician. It appears to also have been discriminatory towards me in more than one way.

Living in Scarborough South West for last 20 years and saw many Councillors, MPPs and MPs come and go. Just before election they come to us and promise they will give us the golden duck. But after they win with my vote they disappear for another 4 years and my golden duck vanished.But Doly is exceptional. After she won her first election and first Bangladeshi MPP in the history of Canada, she stay connected. She comes to her office every Friday and talk with the people who has any issues. She knows how to respect others. She knows how to talk at parliament. I feel like she is part of my family. For her I am voting. Never before I feel that urgency to vote.I know as a citizen it’s my right. But I don’t feel like to use my right. After I met with her I feel like if I don’t vote she might defeat by one vote. Doly keep up your good work. We will keep you with our every day prayers.

Went there hoping she help me out leaving disappointed. Unfortunately I guess votes matters more than helping your constituents

She is one of the most caring MPPs in Ontario; she who actually listens to her community and fights for us. People of Scarborough-Southwest should feel proud we have such a face representing us while Doug Ford takes another vacation during the oncoming wave of COVID which, apparently the vaccine will not protect us from.But Doly says and does what is necessary. Please re-elect her—(in 2022); I’m begging the people of Ontario to recognize the treasonous inaction of the Ford Government with their pandemic response.SSW already has many disproportionately affected civilians and we need representatives like Doly to fight for immigration and the people of SSW. Unlike Ford, Doly Begum does not take a vacation when we are in danger.

I contacted her for interviews about COVID-19 and how it has impacted the community, and it was so refreshing hearing that there are people like her that truly care about the concerns of the community.

Because of Doly and her team, my whole family was able to get vaccinated. Not a single other MPP stood up for us or Scarborough like she did. Not only did they give everyone information daily, they booked my family's appointments as well. Doly, you saved lives. THANK YOU!!!!

Completely useless. Called a month ago seeking assistance with an urgent request for assistance with Ministry of Health on a life-saving drug issue.Left message a month ago and not even so much as a return call.Don't waste your votes Scarborough Southwest!

My son volunteers for MPP Begum and always has a wonderful time. The MPP and staff have made it a safe and fun environment for everyone. Keep up the amazing work in the SSW community.
