Our first visit was to see Otto. Our second was Bones of Crows. Both films were an amazing experience. The new theatre is a treat.

Love this wee gem. We were visiting Sidney for a few days and went nightly to the movies. Reasonably priced tickets, friendly staff, & comfy seats. Ridiculously cheap popcorn compared to the big cinemas.There was problem with playing the movie in one of the theatres and the staff went above and beyond to move us to a different theatre. Even though not all patrons were happy with this decision, the staff handled everything with with grace and professionalism.I highly recommend the Star Cinema in Sidney.

Love star cinema!!! I'd give it 10 stars! Super friendly! Good popcorn. Affordable and superbly curated selection of films. We've watched blockbusters and indie films I wouldn't have otherwise sought out.

Amazing little big movie place In Sidney almost reminds me of a smaller cleaner way less expensive silver city , out of any big theatre I would way rather go here and prices makes it affordable for a family to go and get popcorn ect and not spend 100 dollars so impressive

Haven't had a chance to see a movie at the new theatre but they do make the best popcorn around and decently priced and always friendly staff

Just completed a big reno. 3 theatres of different sizes. They shuffle around movies on a weekly basis. I've seen up to 6 movies at different times throughout the week. Cheapy Tuesdays for 8 bucks for everyone. I don't know what the regular rate is as I'm cheap.

Liked it in the old location. Love it in the new facility ! Very friendly staff and very affordable prices compared to the big theatres.

Noted on their website, that tickets can be bought at the box office, I drove down to pre buy. The door sign said open at 12:30, so when my iphone said 12:30 I went in. They said they weren't open yet, and when I quoted that it was 12:30 they said, No
