One of the best photography stores around! The team at Photo Central really know their stuff and are always helpful in finding just what I need!Stock is somewhat limited, which is understandable for a small shop on the prairies but I'd love to see more of the big brands and inventory on-hand for ad-hoc events and such.Overall I love this little gem, highly recommended if you're searching for photo or video gear and have hard-to-answer questions!

What a great group of people! Came in on a Wednesday to print off some photos from a photo shoot to send out for Christmas. They told me it would take 3-4 business days as it was Christmas’s season and they were quite busy. I was stressed as I needed the photos to be shipped out by Friday to arrive in time for Christmas. I expressed this to the gentleman helping me and he told me he would leave a note on my file indicating that they needed to be ready by 5pm on Friday. He was very understanding and helpful, and expressed how he also was going to be scrambling around to finish his Christmas shopping. The very next day (Thursday), I was sent an email informing me they were ready! Incredible service! I highly recommend this place for your photo needs! They really helped put me at ease and came though for me in a pinch!

Was told my scans would take 2 weeks. It is now week 5, I called on wednesday only for them to say they just started working on it that day and was told it would be done on Friday, i called friday they told me end of the day.. they then called back and told me Saturday. It's Saturday, theyre closed with no follow up or film scans. Very disappointed as a first time customer.

I recommend for baby passport photos! The customer service was amazing- so kind- and it was quick, with clear instructions, and a decent price. It is stroller friendly, and there is even a quiet place to feed your baby and use the bathroom if needed.

Went there looking for a new camera. I am just starting out in photography and didn't really know what I wanted. Talked with Bram, one of the employees there. They were very informed on the cameras and helped me pick out a Sony A6300. They explained the product and helped me understand a lot of its features and how it would help out the type of photography I wanted to do. Bram really helped me out. 10/10 Would recommend

I'm sure if you're a regular and know what to expect, this place can be great, but I've been disappointed twice now.The first time I got a wireless flash trigger for my camera, and found when I got home that it was obviously a return, used, and damaged. More recently I called ahead to ask if they had a particular camera, and was told it was in stock. Upon arrival, it turned out that it was the display model, not a new camera. They were not forthcoming with the fact that it was the display model - I had to ask - and they had been prepared to sell it to me as a brand new camera.I've never had issues like this at any of the other camera shops in the city. Given their questionable ethics around sales, I cannot recommend them to anyone.

They were very transparent, very patient, didn't try to upsell me or sell anything I don't need, were aware I had a low budget and went above and beyond looking for products that were affordable or on sale. You could walk out there without buying anything and feel comfortable to think about your options. Highly recommend just because they have a good variety of lenses, cameras, and anything related, and of course, excellent customer service. Thanks!

A while back I bought a used 7D and had shipped to Toronto I found out that the flash card slot was not reading the CF cards I emailed the owner of Photo Central Mr. Andrew Toews and explained the situation and he went above and beyond to give me a refund when he got the camera back. You can buy from any photo store today but buying from Mr Toews shop should be your first choice because you will get the great service even when products are not 100 percent satisfactory at least you can count on stellar service which is hard to come by these days.Thanks AndrewMichael
