Dr foot is a wonderful vet he truly cares about your pet and one will see that from the moment you walk in his office as well his partner is just as caring for pets she truly help me to know that feeding my baby dog any human food was slowly killing her and I can never thank her enough for her tough words but helpful words that my little girl is on the road to a better long life with me I highly recommed going here if you truly love your furry freind as well his cost for things to be done are very fair it's is because of his great kindness that my baby when she got sick and I had no one that he help me with her and has got her back too health so thankyou Dr foot the world truly needs more great vets like you in it

Wonderful experience! Had my little bunny Bear in to be neutered and everything went great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Foote seemed like a kind and laid back gentleman who spoke calmly to my bunny. Would highly recommend!

I would give zero stars if I could. What a horrible experience. For our hobby farm, we purchased two goats and had to neuter the male. I called all livestock and large animal veterinarians in my area, up to 1.5 hours away. None of them would take on new patients, or we were out of their range and could not work with them. They all suggested we contact Dr. Foote. When I contacted Glencoe Animal Hospital, a gentleman (not Dr. Foote) told me this was a specialty service, but Dr. Foote had experience with goats, and they would contact me back. After waiting a week for a response, I called and Dr. Foote answered. I stressed that I didn't want to neuter my goat using an elastic band and that I wanted some pain management for him. Dr. Foote was very helpful over the phone and agreed on pain management and let me know what options I had. He stressed that many vets did not provide pain management, and this was an old, outdated method of caring for animals. To book an appointment, he asked me to call back three days later, which I found odd but agreed with. Having called back, he seemed less interested in the goat this time and was concerned about its size, but we agreed to book an appointment anyway. I had to take time off work. I drove my goat to the clinic an hour from home and found a sign saying that the clinic was closed when I arrived. I called the number and the same gentleman who answered the first time said he would see me outside. After he came outside, he said they couldn't reach me to tell me my goat needed a tetanus shot before it could be operated on. I said that was fine, can they do that before they neuter the goat or will there need to be a period of time between the two procedures? Apparently, the person didn't know and replied, Well

Called to get an appointment for our budgie, as he wasn’t feeling well. The women that answered the phone was so gruff and lacked empathy. She made me feel like I was a horrible person. The entire conversation she was rude and demeaning. I ended up booking the appointment because I thought they were the only vet in the area that would see birds. I called another vet in London and they were so kind and compassionate about our situation. Needless to say, we will be going there. When I called back to Glencoe to cancel the appointment, a man, I assume, the vet answered the phone. I kindly said we will not need the appointment I booked and continued to explain the reason for my cancellation was due to the way the women talked to me on the phone. His response was well

So my rescue Guinnie pig was not doing well at all. Most know if they are showing sickness than it's usually too late. I had seen a vet in London and after taking a look at him he right away told me I needed a specialist and recommended this place. I called everywhere else in London first but they were booked or not taking clients. These guys at first could not see me till the next day but after explaining how sick my little guy was they squeezed me in and even stayed after hours to help me out. The lady who took over the call gave me amazing directions I had no issues finding my way.Unfortunately my piggy did not make it and passed away but the dr was caring and the lady who assisted was very informative on some information I knew as well as some I did not. Visit costed $250 which I think for a small exotic pet is reasonable. They were very compassionate as I was a mess as he passed away on the exam table. I could see how other reviewers would think they come off rude but they are not really they are just urgent in their care of the animal and they care alot. People can be so worried about their pets they forget how their tone comes off and how they are treating the vet as well.As for smell what do you expect they care for animals and it's sort of a farm atmosphere. I found it had a clean smell with light pet odor which is normal I'd expect nothing less as all vets have a smell! Big thank you to Dr. Foot and his team for all their care and help.

Took my 8month old rabbit here since he has wet tail and everything the internet suggests is serious and to be treated by a vet. I was charged $150 for the exam where he took the weight, temp, listened to lungs heart and digestion, felt his bladder and said it was empty. He then suggested to trim his hair so it didnt get peed on ( which his entire stomach is covered in wet hair) and get neutered (which i plan on) he quoted $500 for the neuter and i left with everything unresolved. Im super disappointed and regret going i wish he took this seriously and treated my rabbit, took a test or something to find the problem. 100% wont be going back

I could not find anyone who would see my Skinny Pig in London and on short notice Dr.Foot was available to see my skinny the next day! Both himself and his wife were welcoming, made me feel comfortable and were super professional. Their prices are great, especially for dealing with exotic animals. They were thorough with the examination and he was able to provide a diagnosis and treat her, it turned out not to be a big issue at all! I got some advice as well which I found very helpful. HIGHLY recommended if you have a piggie that needs helps, very knowledgeable! Myself and Eunice say thank you!Update: She ended up having to get euthanized a few months later as she had congestive heart failure. The first time she was examined this wasn't noticed, just thought she was a big girl. Xray was suggested and it was the worst news ever. To this day I still miss her. I asked them to put her back in her fleece bed and put the blanket on her after sending her to sleep. They did and were very compassionate. My heart still hurts to this day. I loved her so much. Rest in peace Eunice <3

AVOID! This is not somehwere to take your anImal.Long story short as possible, I phoned about a cloacal prolapse my parrot was suffering from.Originally phoned in asking about what the price would be for the surgery to rectify the issue. The receptionist stated that it would be approximately $700.I showed up, had the vet look at my parrot. He told us upon inspection that she needed a diet change and suggested his own brand to me. I was instructed to push in her prolapse myself and feed her this new food. I feel like my birds health and my concerns were completely ignored.Don't waste your time or money coming here. According to my experience, it's seems like a money grab, frankly you're better off seeing anyone else.In conclusion, I ended up spending $425 for absolutely nothing.AVOID

I was forced to deal with this facility due to vets not taking new patients through out the pandemic. I knew something was not right but had no other options with two incidents of sick cats.I have finally managed to find another vet and my suspicions were verified.EUTHANASIA IN GLENCOE: over 600$EUTHANASIA elsewhere: 170$BLOODWORK IN GLENCOE: over 500$BLOODWORK elsewhere: 45$I believe that Dr. Foot has knowledge about veterinary practices, but the absorbent greed and price gouging happening at this clinic is unacceptable. If this isn't enough of a red flag, the constant belittling delt out by the assistant at the clinic is ridiculous. Her demeanor and righteous attitude is ridiculous and wrong. Its places like this cause the need for standardization in veterinary procedure pricing.I hope anyone reading this can find an alternative to taking their beloved pet to this money pit of a clinic.
