Nothing is memorable for our lunch here. All dishes and soup noodles depend on my own personal preferences and standards.I don't satisfy with its side dish (i.e., fried pork ribs). I only felt a lot of spices integrated on top. I don't know if inflation of food cost has impacted the restaurant's owner here. Pricy for almost a dollar for one small cut and not joyful. All the rest of the ordered soup based is just fine, at least not surprising me.With many other choices, I will not make other visits. Sorry, please kindly accept my apologies.

I have driven by several times and always wanted to give this rice noodle shop a try. It wasn’t busy when I got there during lunch time on Thursday. The restaurant was nicely decorated and very modern. The vibe was very suitable for lunch gathering with small group of friends. The food and portion were ok but a bit pricey for two people. We ordered two Original Low Sodium Crossing the Bridge Rice Noodles and an appetizer for almost $60 in total. It’s ok to visit if you want to enjoy the decor and try something new. Unfortunately this is not a restaurant that I will want to go back all the time.

The signature noodle soup taste okay but the price is a lot higher than others. The other noodle soup is too pale. I don’t find it contains enough original taste for the Yunnan noodle soup. Also, I don’t like any of the side dishes I ordered. I felt like maybe I just don’t understand this restaurant.

The environment was delightful and the place was clean. The service was okay. The food was below average and slightly overpriced. Ordered their pork intestine and duck blood rice noodle soup and tomato beef stew rice noodles. The broths were bland and watery. The amount of the meats and ingredients were ungenerous.

first time visiting, service was excellent, presentation was great, but the soup has no taste and very greasy, there was a thick layer of oil at top. it was over priced for sure. I will not go back...

Pros:- Inside is gorgeous and clean! The decor is very aesthetically pleasing and the music is traditional and instrumental.- Complimentary lemon water- Amazing broth! Not as salty as the ramen places I typically go to.- Unique presentation and interactive component of placing every ingredient into the broth- Fresh-tasting ingredientsCons:- Pricey, especially the side dishes—we ordered the spicy cold sliced beef jerky and thought they mistakenly gave us a small (taste was good but $13!)- Wagyu beef portion was small- Opt for the soup noodles, my tofu ground pork noodles was flavourful and I enjoyed the soft tofu, but it was too salty/spicy (the sauce was more like a soup which overpowered everything)

Me and family came to this place because we found out it served Crossing-The-Bridge noodles! The food was great; the Crossing-The-Bridge noodle was delicious! I had the Australian Wagyu A5 option, so it was a little bit more expensive. The meat was mazing, but the dish itself wasn't super special compared to the other restaurant we went to. The noodle bowl itself was very good. The atmosphere and service can be improved on, but overall it was an OK experience. If you're around the area of Commerce Gate, it was worth to try this place out!

A friend took me here to try the best rice noodle. Apparently this is what she called the most authentic Yunnan Rice Noodle place in Toronto. I ordered the signature noodle soup. The soup base is tasty and light, love the crunchy deep fried meat pieces inside which gave it a good meaty taste. The side dish portion is small but just right to go along the main meal. We ordered the spicy potato slices, just loved the spicy sauce!

I visited Ricey Silo for the first time and had mixed feelings about it. The restaurant was spacious and nicely decorated with bamboo elements, and the servers were attentive and friendly. They served us water infused with lemon, which made me feel like I was in an upscale place.I ordered the limited Steam Pot Silkie Chicken and Original Low Sodium Crossing-the-Bridge Rice Noodle, the first item on the menu marked as recommended. Unfortunately, the Steam Pot Silkie Chicken disappointed me as it was smaller than expected and was full of small bone-in chicken pieces. Still, the soup was hearty and flavourful. I think the menu should have explained the dish better. The Original Low Sodium Crossing-the-Bridge Rice Noodle was served on two large wooden plates, with a hot stone bowl of broth and small dishes of toppings. The soup was rich, flavourful, and not at all greasy. However, the noodles were sticky and clumpy. Also, they did not offer free refills like other Yunnan noodle places. The toppings were high quality, and I particularly enjoyed the fish fillet cooked in the hot soup. We also ordered extra Egg White Noodles, which were still clumpy but not as sticky as before. Since this restaurant specialized in noodles, I expected them to cook them properly, which was a slight disappointment.Overall, I think Ricey Silo is a decent place to try Yunnan cuisine, but it is overpriced for what it offers. The quality of the ingredients was high, but I thought it needed to provide better value for money.
